ohhhh ok
Anyway yeah it's been really strange weather here.
Koreans believe Korea has 4 distinct seasons, kk but this year has proved that wrong 3nodding because in spring it was still snowing atleast once per week. I love snow haha
I would hide in my bed if it started snowing here during May now...
It would be ridiculous, like really... D:

You're so lucky! I really wish I could go to Korea, I think it'd be cool to study there though I'm not sure what I'd study lol I'm sure even if I could study over there my parents wouldn't let me lol but whatever hopefully you'll have a good time and learn a lot there =)

I've lived in the Republic of Korea for the past three and a half years... almost four.
I'm not planning on leaving any time soon, either.

If there are people reading this thread coming to Korea, though, they may be interested in Adventure Korea.
It's a tour company that specializes in weekend trips for foreigners in Korea.
I went there for holiday last year ^^ its pretty and awesome. lucky you smile
I am officially going to the University of Ulsan in Ulsan, South Korea!!
I am mostly excited about this, but a large part of me is really scared too. I'm hoping I will make friends, that people will want to talk to me and will like me, that I will somehow manage to figure things out there(like the bus system for one!)
What University will you be going to exactly? I know there are a few in Seoul, so I'm just being curious.

Was it really difficult for you to adapt and learn the language? Also, how is daily life there different than from a Western country?

kk come and see for yourself xD

not much of a difference..

just very super crowded, and ppl on the street arent very friendly.. due to so many ppl in the city. I don't know what its like outside of Seoul. Be prepared to be stared at especially by people 30+ yrs old because they are curious and have very poor public manners. It takes time to get used to everything, at first you may hate living here, but later you'll probably like it. But other than that people are kind i guess.

I didn't have a difficult time adapting to living here.
I also tended to pick up the language fairly quickly.

Don't get me wrong, there are times when I'm frustrated by certain things (mainly language barriers and autobikes on the sidewalks).
But I'm a terrible judge of how it might be different from living in a Western country.
