Germans: What is 'Herr' ?

I'm studying German in addition to french and am barely getting down the basics with German. Is this like a 'Sir' or 'Mr.'?

Well "Herr" is like "Mr."
So for example "Herr Mueller" is "Mr. Miller".

should've known, but German is a bit more difficult for me because it sounds less like spanish than French does. (I am bilingual looking to be fluent in 3 languages, then 4)

German is more similar to English. Obnoxious grammar.

But I still love it. But yeah, Herr is the polite Mr. or Sir, as others have said

I hate German XD It's so friggin complicated! And Swiss German... Phew XD

i got a b in german but i can't recall any of it. :/
my dad's swiss, and i have a swiss citzenship, so my sis signed me up for german. worst semester of my life. (actually, this semester is worse than that.) and i can barely remember a thing!
at least it wasn't as bad aa french. took it for 2 years, remember some of it, failed so bad in 7th grade i had to take summer school.

i wish i could speak japanese. and french, and russian. :3
