Heh. If my town had both a sushi restaurant and a restaurant that served curry I'd go broke very quickly, because I'd be having one for lunch and one for supper every day of the week.

I do love the other three foods I mentioned, but I'm addicted to sushi and curry. lol

Tell me about it. A grocery store I used to work at when I lived in Alberta had a sushi bar, and even though it was small, it still offered over 2 dozen types of sushi.
And I've encountered several different kinds of curry at the different Chinese restaurants I've eaten in, in addition to finding it on the menu of a few different American restaurants.

Dammit, now I'm getting hungry. lol

Ah, I've definitely done that! c: I love cooking, so I've definitely tried!

The biggest thing that is missing from it when I do that though is the sauce; I've found bottles of okonomiyaki sauce at Asian grocery stores, and I've tried making it myself, but both have tasted a far cry from the "real deal" that I've had.

The base food itself is pretty simple (and very customizeable with fillings!), but the sauce and kewpie mayo really give the dish personality. emotion_drool

How's kewpie mayo different from regular?

It tastes very similar to Miracle Whip so you could substitute that for it.
