Welcome to Gaia! ::

A. Maybe I should check my e-mail again
B. How often should I check on my investments?

Hi, I was wondering if there's a difference between "to check" and "to check on" or are they interchangeable?

Thank you
Dear God....

You really don't need on, its assumed that when you check. You can say it to sound more professional or responsible:

"I need to check on the baby."

But it works and is understood the same way when you say it like this:

"I need to check the baby."

T
hey made me a Zeta.....
Where are you from? ..If you don't mind me asking.

Your english is already really good, why are you always asking grammar questions?

~Just really curious~
