I'm leaving in August, and I'll be there through January. My Polish is pretty good, enough to get by. I'm doing a foreign exchange program, so I'll be in school while I'm there. But it's an international school, so all my schoolwork will be in English anyway.

Ah wow, you still have a while to go yet so you'll be able to work on your Polish even more before you go. Is your family Polish? At least being in an international school while you're there, you won't be thrown too far into the deep end. xd

My family has lived in Poland (except me). They've lived in Katowice and Poznań. I also have two friends who live in Poland, not exactly sure where though, but i talk to them often. I may be able to help some.
