Actually I think you'd be suprised to find out a lot of us do. Have you ever been out of the country? When I came back to Australia after 2 and a half months in Europe without speaking English and when I got back one of the first things I noticed was how strong our accent really is! It's amazing... I even noticed my own accent.

Absolutely. A few years ago, ABC had really lost a lot of relevance. But in the last year or so they have really picked up with some quality programming, and it's showing in a lot of strong ratings.
