I've never been to the Netherlands but I want to spend my vacation there next spring. Who can recommend good places to go to and good hotels to stay? And what are the best hotel booking sites?

gonna be stereotypical but as a tourist Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague are definitely to be recommended.
What do you plan on doing here though?
