안녕하세요~
저는 한국사람 아니지만, 한국에서 살고 있어요.
저도 중국에서 살았어요. 한국말보다 중국말을 더 잘해요~ whee

您好 我不是中国人但是我会讲汉语。我也会韩语。 呵呵。
我现在住在韩国首尔。因为我在努力学习韩语我忘了好多汉语。 哎哟。 但是您可以随便对我说汉语我都能看得懂。 3nodding

Hello everyone. I've been on Gaia for many years, but haven't used it in a long time so my old account was deactivated by the site for being inactive. I created this account just to register for reactivation... But I don't know I kind of like this avatar too. hah.

I'm not Asian, but I'm nearly fluent in Chinese language, on my way to fluency in Korean, and I have studied and lived in both BeiJing, China (also other Chinese cities such as ShenYang, HangZhou, and places in HeNan and XiNan province), and currently live in Seoul, South Korea.

I'd love to talk about my second homes or just in their language.

hii LOOL ,
i can read korean, but
i've never properly learned proper grammar LOOL.
i live / grew up in koreatown ;
so i basically heard the language on a daily basis
and now i've acquired an ear for it LMAO / 90% of the asian kids in
my class are korean anyways OTL .
and they taught me how to read LOLOL.
and write - but my writing's really ugly apparently LOOLOL ; n ;
i was told it was 'ugly in a cute way' and i've no idea wth that means

but anyways, you probs know how it is LOOL ; just because you can read it doesn't mean
you understand what you're reading <--- that applies to me v n v LOOOL. OTL;; i've much to learn.

but hellooo LOL !
feel free to teach me anything!
(/ puts on student face c: )
呵呵呵呵
哪里哪里啊~! redface

我以前住在北京所以我见到了好多韩国人。 因为他们就去了韩国。
您的韩语挺好啊! 我现在在延世大学学习韩语。 延世大学是很厉害的也比较把重点放在语法上。

Our school is pretty intense when it comes to grammar in Korean and it's one of the reasons why I miss studying Chinese. I really fell in love with Chinese but as for Korean, it's more something I'm working hard at because it became necessary in my life....
But Korean grammar is the most difficult, there are literally a hundred ways to say the same thing. Grammar adds expression and sometimes it's difficult to properly use or understand all of the grammar.
Even Koreans who are native speakers don't completely understand the grammar and commonly use it wrong.

If you have any interest in the language or culture, it doesn't matter if you make mistakes, when you do it with an honest try even the mistakes are cute. 3nodding

他们是在中国学中文还是怎么的? * 3*

LOL yeees. chinese is all about expanding the vocab,
once you master a lot of words, and the basics for grammar,
you're pretty good to pass c:
(. . . well x nx, aside from pronounciations; whole other story there LOLL)
although my vocab is terrible lmao i can't read as much as i can speak ; ^ ;
AND YES x n x ! i've no idea how korean grammar works LOLOL,
it's confusing as hell to me and there's so much i don't understand,
my friends only teach me/ talk to me using informal stuff - which brings
a whole new set of problems due to the whole formality thing ; n ; OTL (/ crrryyyyy. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ)

and pfftt >ㅂ< / , ohh youu.
it's all about getting away with your mistakes using 애교 isn't it? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
开玩笑啦 嘿嘿 ^^ ,

Aegyo certainly covers a lot of mistakes.

More than just informal and formal, there is also written and spoken forms (each with separate formal and informal).
Before I moved to Seoul, I used this guide to learn some grammar basics:
http://parksguide.blogspot.com/2009/08/korean-grammar-pdf-file.html

您是上海人呢? 呵, 但是您住在中国么?
在北京韩国人很多啊! 他们一半的学中文。 韩国人能很快学中文,但是有的人有一个奇怪的口音。呵呵呵。
