Spanish seems like a more practical language than Norwegian

You speak German?! I'm still kind of a beginner, however I'm learning to form more complex sentances in the past and future tenses. I can also write small paragraphs. I'm still working on building a larger vocabulary, but I know a number of useful verbs.

Oh! And Swedish sounds like a lot of fun to learn! That's definitely one language I'd love to dabble in once I've mastered German and Spanish.
Yeah I speak broken German lol pretty much, but I'm understood okay haha.
Me too vocab is always good!
Apparently Norwegian is better because then you can understand Dainish, Dutch, Swedish and Finnish. X3

Also the grammar is supposed to be really close to English.
Good luck!

You'll not be able to understand Finnish with Norwegian (I know this because I speak both Norwegian and Swedish)
Finnish belongs to a completely different language group

A lot of people in Finland do however know Swedish...

Ah thank you. biggrin
These have all been languages I've been considering.

As for spanish, this is also considered, however German is probably the most practical for Europe since I live in Europe so why not have a language too which is a little bit less practical but still okay to use?
I really want to goto the Scandinavian countries! xD

Russian, I recommend it (also, if you're looking for someone to speak broken German to, I'm your girl). Russian is spoken not only in Russia, but Ukraine and Belarus just to name a few. The language is phonetic and they only have 31 characters in the alphabet to learn.
33, to be precise.

Ah yes! Thank you for pointing that out. That was a mis-type I apparently didn't catch. Much obliged
