Background Information●Argentum was born in ancient Greece, and was not born human, which was ok given that it was an age of myth and legend anyway. However, over time people became less accepting of anything different and beings that couldn't hide were slowly and steadily made to vanish from the world. Fortunately for him, he could, and he was good at it. Being ageless however gets noticed over the years and he was forced to take up traveling. He eventually had been just about everywhere and was astounded at how much alike and different cultures could be. During these travels he would learn what the cultures had to offer. From even a young age he loved music, but this gave him a chance to learn just how expansive music was. But music wasn't the only thing he would learn, he would also learn fighting, cooking, and even some lessons into magic and science. Alas there came a day when he just got bored of it all, and started hibernating. He would wake up from time to time, but would eventually get bored and go back to sleep. He might be awake for 50 or 100 years, and he would sleep for just as long or longer. Recently he has revived to find that the world is a drastically different place than he remembers it being when he went to sleep, so much has happened and changed in that time. After a few years or re-exploring the world as it now was, he has received an invitation to help a new generation oh people to learn. A generation of people that are different from normal humans... the old struggles continue, but maybe now... maybe it is time to start a new age of myth. So he accepted the challenge of teaching the young to learn how to control themselves. After all, if you have no control over your power, you can be as much a danger to yourself as the people around you.

Bio: Obsidian, Sid to his friends, was born to a ninja clan where he practiced both combat and mysticism. His training was intense, and brutal. When he was old enough and had mostly finished his training he ran away to get away from his parents. Along with a friend of his they joined up with a pirate crew, where they had a blast for several years before he started taking up work more and more often as a silent blade. One day while on a mission, he got stranded on a remote bit of land in another plane. He made due on his own for a time, knowing that he was always being watched. Eventually he found that Fae of the forest that had been watching him, after they accepted him among them he started learning their ways, and eventually trained as a druid. Helping to take care of the glade he now lived. after a few years a catastrophe occurred and one of them tossed him through a gate spell, the last thing he saw of the glade was the force of destruction that was descending on it. Now in a new home again, he has started over once more, and wonders the forest as he will. [»] Shado's history is mostly shrouded in mystery and secrecy. What has been discovered over the years is that he wasn't born a god, he elevated himself to the status of one by defeating a god and taking its place. After assuming the mantle he delved deeper into the workings until he became a key figure within the divine council. There is some speculation to timelines, as his primary divine attribute was originally time. Speculation has it that he may have used this to jump around through the timeline in every direction to some extreme ends. One rumor having it that he even once went forward so far as to find the end of the loop, and back so far as to find its beginning. Of course, this is all rumor.. isn't it? One thing he will tell you is that the knowing of something inherently changes what it is and there is no such things as a truly known future.
Over the years he has taken many lovers, and even a few wives. Has had several children of his own, and adopted many others to raise and teach.
It is unclear when he became a guardian deity, only that he now caries the title along with his position as the gate keeper.
Over the millennia he has worked with the different races, forming pacts with a few of them from time to time, though the recipients do not always know of him behind the deal. Some of them have gone on to join the ranks of heroes, while others have become warlords or saints.
One thing has been known for sure. He tends to strive for some sort of balance in the bigger picture. Though, what isn't quite known is what that balance is exactly.

[»]: Spell works: Shado is highly proficient with magic, in large due to the fact that he has been around forever and sees magic as something of a hobby. He is no better then the average mage in as far as his capacity to cast magic. Only his long time understanding of things sets him apart in casting.
[»]: Opening of gates: As it sounds, Shado can open gates, portas, and rifts at will. These can lead anywhere he desires them to and can be opened at any location of his choosing. It is far easier however to use an existing reference for both ends of the gate using them as anchoring points to reduce the energy cost to make them, the time to create them and the calculations of position, anchoring and trajectory linking. These gates can cross an infinite distance, transdimensional, and alternate reality barriers, as well as even crossing through the timeline itself (though that is far trickier to operate and is mostly incapable of permitting living tissue to pass.
[»]: Time dilation field: This is his core ability. As both a master of time and its pro-generating source, Shado can bend and manipulate time, as well as the space it inhabits. in his true form this would be without limit in scope, however, as he is still subject to celestial law he can not interact with people in his true state. To this measure he must seal a part of himself away from the core of his being and use that created body like a puppet of sorts. This significantly reduces the power the created body can access. He can maintain a complete mastery of the time/space field around his immediate person within what one would call an aura. With focus and physical contact with an object he can extend that field to encompass much larger objects though the overall energy having been stretched out will react more 'sluggishly' reducing the speed at which he can manipulate such things.
However within the limited space around him where the control is strongest he can manipulate things more readily. Such things that can be done are to move through time and space differently than others around him, create barriers where the space through the barrier can be of both infinite distance and perspectively of infinite density as he could alternately compress that space into a singular point thickness. He has also been observed altering the individual timeline of an object or person forward or backward to repair or decay the target, afterwhich he can superimpose the state on said target to make the altered state the current one.
Shado must however be careful with how much and how often he uses his powers, however, as such performances can and often do degrade the seals which act to mask the presence of his power within the world. Should they all be lost the created body would crumble and be lost. Also, shado would expose himself as his true self within the world if only for a moment, which would be potentially disastrous to the area and earn him a stern reprimand from the celestial council. The more he taps into his core ability and pushes these energies the faster the seals break down.

Wings, the outer skin of his wings maintains a temporal barrier toughening them significantly, trying to pierce them from the outside would be similar to trying to pierce through a foot of mythril. The ridge of his wings confers that same energy like a blade, allowing him to use his wings to slice though most non hardened materials with relative ease.
His body itself while soft and supple to the touch on the surface is quite solid, when struck he would feel like marble or granite.
