Holiday items not working!

So I bought a medium tree from the Faktori and I bought items to decorate it with. However when I placed my tree in my house and tried to decorate it, it highlighted red and wouldn't let me put the decorations on it. So, tried it with a small tree and it worked. So am I doing something wrong or is it the tree? Should have I bought a tree from the Cash Shop?

Anyone else having the problem or am I missing something? xp

I'm having the same problem with the green tree as well, the star tree topper won't work either.

I have a medium green tree. My topper and a few of the lights keep hopping off of it and landing in the far corner.

I had to restart 3 or 4 times because, after saving my medium tree, the lights would be off to the side, or hiding behind the tree. I finally got it to save right, but the gold star tree topper wont attach and is sent to the corner. Also, the presents would bug out and not be clickable if you stacked to many (causing me to have to restart the entire floor again).

After I finished.
I would move the fireplace back.
Against the wall.
Without removing anything from it.
