It's one of the Christmas ornaments from last year. Just search 'ornament' on the Marketplace.

Exploring is harder in Towns 2, since you have to jump back to the water taxi every time, but I love seeing other people's houses.
I found this nice house today:

Thanks! Yeah, it gets kind of discouraging when most homes are locked or empty, but I think it's worth it to find those few houses that people really put time and effort into decorating.

I think tomorrow I'll explore some more houses and post updates.
