Ditto. I heard all about it from several people but just didn't get around to it. Oddly enough I've seen the Firefly movie, but only the first episode or two of the show. I want to watch the rest though.

Eladrin, Uni and Bovary: don't worry, apparently a lot of people who are otherwise major Whedon junkies didn't realize what was going on... I just happen to be on a couple of forums and get Whedonesque updates on my LJ, so I kinda know what's going on at all times. Yes, you have found my fandom cool All my friends heard about it because I posted about it pretty much everywhere, but I forgot here. Apparently there's still places like youtube that have it, but the sound track is so off it's painful to watch. But you can download the 3 eps off iTunes for $4, or wait for the DVD to come out (musical commentary!!!!!). And trust me, you want to see this... it's totally full of win biggrin
Oh, and in case you need more of an incentive, this blog has a couple of songs on it that are pretty spoiler free. Time To Practise Your Evil Laughter . Cannot Believe My Eyes is definitely one of my favorite songs from the musical, gives me chills! |

Also, I love that you 'snoopy dance'. My husband does that when he's super happy. ^^ It's pretty unique as far as expressions of joy go. My fandom, honestly, is Metroid. Anything Samus Aran/Metroid I just drool over. |

The happy Snoopy dance has always been a favorite of mine, even before Xander made use of it. I've always been a major Peanuts fan. I have many different versions of it as well, depending on how active I am at any given time, taken from the dance scenes in A Charlie Brown Christmas.
I'm not familiar with Metroid though... if it's anything comic/graphic novel related, I probably wouldn't have heard about it as I am in the infancy of my knowledge of such things. My friends will get me hooked eventually, or so they think. I'm starting to become more familiar with all things superhero related, but I have much still to learn! Such is the joy of having a Geek Table to educate you, no? |

Metroid is a game series, actually. It started back in the mid-80's on the NES, went to the Gameboy, then to the SNES, took a 10 year haitus then jumped back into the world on the Gamecube. All the games revolve around intergalactic bounty hunter Samus Aran and her prey, the metroids, and her enemies, the Space Pirates. She pretty much eradicates the entire species of metroids because of what a threat they are to the universe, and an entire planet at one point, so she's not your typical hero. I completely heart her.

Be careful of those poppies! The only reason that they haven't taken over the entire garden is they are separated by a strip of lawn. They're worse than mint! gonk Do you plan on anything other than strawberries next year? We have a pumpkin already the size of my fist, growing 4 feet in the air. mrgreen |
