THE PEOPLE - most recent at end.
Ryu teh Ryu: [PM] I roleplay mostly male characters, my females are usually tomboys. Normally I stick to straight fantasy/fictional roleplays, and I avoid roleplays about school, bands, military, and series-based, though I could probably roleplay roles in them rather sufficiently. Some fantasy roleplays you probably won't find me in will be ones that revolve around vampires, wars between vampires and werewolves, or sometimes straight angel/demon roleplays. Let's be atypical. As for character types, generally my characters have morals they stick to and are kind-hearted, even if it doesn't show on the surface. I like making attempts at typically evil characters, but I'm soft. xD; Note: I will NEVER roleplay with people who neglect punctuation or grammar, and I'm ONLY available for group RPs, not 1-on-1s.
RP Lit Lvl. 3-4
Examples: [The World of Ir] [The -1st- Aed] [This Burning World] [The -2nd- Aed] [Tetra Color]
Shaoin: [PM] I like to keep my numbers of each gender about even throughout all of my roleplays, though if I ever have more of one, it's probably females. My characters tend to be aggressive, opinionated people, with varying levels of awareness of their own flaws. There are, of course, exceptions to that generalization. From time to time I'll play a pacifist or someone without any strength to speak of, either physical or moral, but all of my characters are more than what they seem to be on the surface.
Primarily, I keep to fantasy storylines, though I'll cheat on the genre with science fiction from time to time. Do not approach me with anything series-based, since I have experienced nothing but disappointment there, and the recent surge in vampire stories has left me less than excited. If you're considering inviting me to anything even vaguely reminiscient of Twilight, don't bother. I'll just laugh.
One last thing; my characters swear, because I swear. And I get rather detailed with my violence. If you have a problem with that, it probably wouldn't be the best of ideas for us to work together.
RP Lit Lvl. Ranges from 3 to 5, depending on what I'm given to work with. I'm most comfortable in the upper 4 area.
Examples: {snοωdrор} [Mϊnd ovєг Mąττєг]
Ravyn_Striker: [PM] Alright so, bio, here goes. I can roleplay either gender with little preference, though like Shaoin, if I make more than one character the girls will usually outnumber the men. My females tend to be strong-willed independent leader types or the opposite end of the spectrum, that is the mostly pacifist healer. My males range from the noble to the moderately creepy though most of them are good guys at heart. I'll admit, I do 'evil' characters much better when they're female than when they're male. Favorite genres are mainly fantasy, as I've had bad experiences with the academy/real life types. I don't do series stories. Period. Personally, if you like the story that's great, but I don't think that ripping off other peoples' work to do what you want with their characters is right. Call me crazy. Also, I probably won't join any rp that has a either really basic or really over done storyline. There's no fun in it anymore. For example, angel-demon war, lycan-vampire war, school for gifted people etc. I wouldn't say I swear alot, but I do use it. I can tone up or tone down on swear/gore whatever as is appropriate for the character and the story.
RP Lit Lvl. 3-5 ish. Not usually five, though I can do it, I prefer not to, mostly because I rarely have time to take forty minutes per post. I avoid one line posts as a rule. How can you possibly expect someone else to work off that?
Examples: [My Safety is in My Silence] [For What Would You Sell Your Soul?]
Ayanami_Elena: [PM] So, about how I roleplay. Let's see... I mostly play female characters, though I am working on some male personas. I prefer to play fantasy games with emphasis on vampires and werewolves. In real-life, I play table-top RPGs: Dungeons and Dragons, Vampire: The Masquerade, Mutants and Masterminds, and many others... That being said, my vampire characters are not based on Twilight (which I have not read, so that would be hard to do). My character's differ greatly, ranging from nut-cases (Malkavian vampire) to kind-hearted thieves. I don't do series based roleplays.
RP Lit Lvl. 3.5
Examples:Untitled Vampire Roleplay, Tides of Dawn, [The Aed] Tetra Colors
Kawari Taizu: [PM] Me? Roleplaying? We go together like Peas and carrots. I love literate roleplays, and most of the time do female characters, but trying to convert to both genders. I’m also learning to create and play more characters. Baby steps. I like to do roleplays that come from a series, like a show or book of some sort. I’ve been itching for a Maximum Ride or Eragon roleplay lately. I also enjoy fantasy roleplays, but I can be picky on my topics. I’m not much of a sci-fi ‘robot wars’ sorta gal, nor am I one for unoriginal plots like forest roleplays or the dreaded Twilight roleplays. I’d rather take a bullet through my head, thank you. I like fighting, and lots of blood, so I guess I prefer violence, too. Also: wolf roleplays.
RP Lit Lvl.: Really, I prefer 4 to 5, but I can do 3.
Examples: Fäтê : [{Tora}][{Kazan}] : Avatar: The Last Airbender .:tRoUbLe:.
Viridiana_Sovari: [PM] I rp'd a bit for about 2 years and stopped, now I'm trying to do more rp's to get me back on track,I might be rusty.
RP Lit Lvl.: 3.5
Examples: N/A
Noxtis: [PM] Hm...How long have I roleplayed...I've roleplayed since I was five. Actually roleplaying with orther people and being good at it was actually when I turned ten. Eh-heh. I'm one of those people cannot seem to find a roleplay. When I do, either all the slots are taken or it's too late. I take time to build my characters.
RP Lit Lvl. - I believe I am at a 3.5, with anyone better I tend to strive to make my posts better.
Examples: N/A, I have none at the moment to give.
Lady Syrik: [PM] I have yet to come up with a successful male character - though, I haven't put much effort behind one. Generally speaking my characters tend to have shadowed histories that are rich and intense. Depending on my mood, I'll either completely reveal the history, or allow it to leak over the course of the plot according to situations presented, people encountered, etc. I mainly enjoy magic-ridden RPs, though I'm also a fan of post-apocalyptic natured RPs, and slaying zombies. It must be duly noted that I absolutely cannot stand technology or anime RPs. Much respect to those who do, but I'm sorry, I consider it fluff and can't get into it. Technology RPs don't interest me as I'm not so interested in technology itself that I would ever consider it a hobby. Give my muse enough stimulation and I will pour paragraphs into your RP.
RP Lit Lvl. 5. Not boasting, believe me, I've written some CRAP. But, I write paragraphs, and make them as grammatically accurate as possible.
Examples: I actually don't have viable RP examples to list here, but can provide one upon request; I tend to require props or be required to provide one before one strikes me.
hangedman1984: [PM] I have played real-life tabletop rpgs for years. My tastes generally range from classic high fantasy games(such as dnd) to modern dark fantasy style games(like the white-wolf games). I've never rp'ed in an online game but am interested in trying something more open and less rule-focused then most tabletop games, so my friend (Ayanami Elena) pointed me in the direction of this guild.
RP Lit Lvl. I'd probably put myself at about a 3.5
Examples: No online roleplaying experience yet
Blood Magdelene: [PM] I like all kinds of RPGs as long as they are thought provoking, imaginative and have a damn good story line which makes you really want to get your hands dirty and type that long, descriptive paragraph. 'One-or-Two-sentences' reply type RPGs don't hold any interest for me at all and, in fact, bore me to bits. Also, since I can only post on certain days at certain times, I prefer a not very demanding RPG... perhaps a minimum of 1 post per week?
RP Lit Lvl. 5
Examples: Magdelene sat atop her bed with her laptop warming her lap. Her fingers hovered above the keys as she struggled to form a reply in her mind. What was she to write? Honestly, she had no idea but managed to force hands to move gracefully across the keyboard typing out all sorts of rubbish that flowed out of her imagination.
Magdelene was almost through paragraph three when, suddenly, she heard a strange sound. It sounded like a tap-tap-tapping against her door only instead it came from underneath her bed. Curious but afraid (although she wouldn't dare admit it), she bent over her bed and slowly, inch by inch, lifted the hanging sheet.
"Uagh!" She cried in both horror and shock as she glimpsed the source of the creaking just as she somersaulted off her bed and landed on her head...
Death Shikaku: [PM] I'm not a big fan of romance roleplays, I'm more of a fighting fan. I hate when people use the K.O. Hammers. So lame... and what really gets on my nerves is- wait, I'm going a little too far off topic. Anyways, I don't mind if people post a wall o' text, at long as it's not too huge. I prefer quick posts, about 10-15 minutes after I post a reply, but it's perfectly fine if they take longer... if I don't get a reply, I usually just log off and check back the next day, and continue until they reply. I don't care much, really. If the posts are a sentence, they're not as... well, fun to read. I like about a paragraph or so, unless the sentence or whatever include enough information... Oh, before I forget, my roleplaying character's name is Tai Hyugamaru. Call him Tai... okay, enough of my talking, let me get on to the roleplaying level and examples, now...
RP Lit Lvl... I'd rate myself about a 3.5 to 4.0. It depends who I'm with and what they post... sometimes my intro may be a little long...
Examples: 천국 나락 [Heaven's Hell] - Not roleplaying, it's more of a story I've been writing, Creatures Castle Sanctuary.
Stargaze Assumptions: [PM] Well, I usually do rpgs that seem to be interesting and succesful. Usually vampires and literate rpgs. As long as it is a sort of worked out story line, literate and has a good story; it works perfectly for me.
RP Lit Lvl. 4-5 Depending on the rpg.

xXxKai-KunxXx: [PM] I'm new to Gaia unfortunately however my skills in RP are very much refined, I've rped on myspace before were grammar and sentence structure is key, if anyone wishes to rp with me I am willing to do so, I wont disappoint.

Frozenblossoms: [PM] Hi there!XD Well um,better get started.Anywayys,I'm most likely to do girl characters, but depending on the roleplays,I will also do a guy.I'm into fantasy roleplaying, and usually does that.I only join a roleplay if it has an intresting title, plot and fairness into rules.I don't accpet picture offers, for that's just me,I like to look on meh own.If my character gets into an argument,in real life,I'd dare not say that to your face, since I'm nice.My characters almost always have darkened histories, such as family murderings or forgotton pasts but hey, that's just me.I will warn you:As much as I like fantasy,I absolutley never join vampire roleplays. They aren't very creative.I don't really do wolves, either. Not into warrior cats too.I only accepet certain anime roleplays, and I only do them if it's a 1x1.I've been roleplaying on other sites but are new to gaia,so I'm still adapting to the roleplaying stuff here.If the roleplay is intresting, than I'm more likely to put more effort into my posts.People tell me I'm really discriptive in my writing, that's a sign that I'm probably ver absorbbed into the roleplay.Sometimes it takes some time for me to post razz lease mind that.My characters are usually talented in their special skill,I either do fresh-new starters or professionals.I always like to do 1x1s.There a good time killer, but be warned that I rareley will not respond in the time limit of 1day-1 month. If you don't want to roleplay with me and dislike me,that's fine with me,just stay out of meh roleplays, then everyones happy. My characters personalities are usually close to mine or far off.
RP Lit Lvl. 2-4 I can really suck,but also be really good.It's very,very,rare that I post 5 quality.No seriously.VERY.

Monseiur-Maestro-648: [PM] Originally as an illiterate an oblivious member of the byond world, Maestro had been of the age of ten or eleven once he discovered roleplaying. He and his twin sibling used to play BST [Brood Star Tavern], went missing in action for a couple of months, most likely during the summer, and reappeared in time for the Remake of the game.
There, it was where Maestro in actuality learned of roleplaying. He went from simple, four lettered words and single lines, to a formatted post so beautiful it made you wonder.
Though, not all the layouts he uses are his. He does source, also, the providers of his posts, since he's made many friends here on Gaia.
Oh, speaking of Gaia, he became a member during the summer of 2006, three years after gaia had come out. At times, though, he wishes he was there during the creation and first year of Gaiaonline. ; D
Now at the age of fifteen, he's involved in a number of roleplays, most of them semi-literate, the rest literate. He has also had his share of roleplays, but most have died on him. D 8
Maestro roleplays anything that you might ask of him, as long as you give him some information, a few images, and a time frame of the roleplay. I'm your guy! : D

Benjamin Bradt: [PM] I am a collegiate English teacher, writer, and a general dreamer. I have been roleplaying for sixteen years in a group setting, spanning many different genres and multiple forms of interaction. I am decidedly most comfortable with novella-style roleplays (past tense, minimum three to five sentences).
RP Lit Lvl. I am easily capable of a 5, but I usually hover around 3-4 out of the habitual reigning in of my 'Grammar Nazi' tendencies.
Examples:
Meat for the Butcher (Zombie Survival RPG)
BrassWorks (SteamPunk RPG)
Tales of Epoch City (Superhero / Supervillain RPG)
Frontier Defense Corps (Military Fantasy RPG)
Persians Rise Again (Modern Supernatural RPG)
Saki Ree: [PM] Role playing has pretty much taken over my life as a Gaian. But, when it comes down to joining a role play or being in a role play, I either forget about it or get lost in the plot. So usually I'm in at least one, two, or three role plays, but it's usually just one, unfortunately.
Usually, it's hard to find a role play that suits me. I'm pretty picky when it comes to them. Twilight, high school, impossible-to-keep-up sci-fi--role plays such as that really don't interest me. Fantasy, though, keeps me very occupied. So does role plays based on SOME shows, but the only one that I've joined that's like that is Naruto . . . And I hate Naruto now, but I adore the role play. Weird, huh?
RP Lit Lvl. (3.5 (but it really all depends))

I Kuro I: [PM] Ello' My name's Kuro. I've had a long long history of roleplaying that dates back before gaia was around. I started rping a long time ago when I played allot of DnD with my budds. A little later, I started playing Gaia in the late months of 03. I am good around all types of roleplaying, but mostly Rp fights, in which I have only lost 4 times since 2001. I have Three RPCs I use allot; Kuro, An Elvish Samurai, Rashoman, The shadow mage, and Flint, A steampunk that is always the first to ask a stupid question. after all of my experience, I would have to rate myself a 4 My posts are to-the-point and Literate, but I'm too lazy to post a huge cluster of paragraphs unless its a fight, where I will only use the most detail I can.
RP Lit Lvl. 4,
Examples: Yew Tree Chapter One. | Yew Tree Chapter Two. | The Lemurain Forest. | Samurai Village
cheidette: [PM] I have been roleplaying quite a while, and reading even longer. I don't have the patience to do non-collaborative work, so roleplaying fits me. I love feeding off other's ideas and adding onto them. Mostly, I roleplay slice-of-life style works, but I like other things as well, so long as the plot catches my interest. Sadly, I have a rather hectic life and don't get to spend as much time focused on my creative endeavors as I'd like. I often end up distracted and vanishing, but am quickly revived once I'm poked or nudged about my lack of life. My characters range, depending on the plot, but they always take on a mind of their own, becoming their own person in my mind and deciding their own destiny. (There's a reason it's said that writing is a socially accepted form of schizophrenia--it's true.) That being said, characters that refuse to cooperate often end up withdrawn from whatever they're supposed to be in due to my frustration with their said lack of cooperation. I don't have the patience for characters that I can't make cooperate, I don't care if they do what I want them to do, as long as they aren't being elusive about what they're doing. I also don't have the patience for most one-on-one roleplays as all the one's I've been seem to die a rather uneventful death after becoming excessively redundant. (My roleplaying with ElegantSarcasm (found in my examples) is my main exception to all the rules. I'm not always at my most literate when working with her (we work out the plot before we start talking and she's one of my best friends, so I know if I miss something, she'll just ask), but those characters are some of my favorite.) Oh, speaking of characters, psychological depth in a character is one of my favorite things in the world. xD (Okay, done rambling and overusing my usually underused parenthesis now.)
RP Lit Lvl. 2.8-4 (I mostly stay in the range of 3.4-3.8 though. It all just depends on the roleplay and how much time I have to dedicate to it.)
Examples: Ashcreek & xXx
Twilight Crucifix: [PM] Hello, everyone! I am Twilight Crucifix - NOT named after the book series! I have been Roleplaying on Gaia almost since I joined two years ago. I will post in almost any kind of RP - I do NOT do yaoi or ANYTHING related to twilight! I am best at Fantasy or University Roleplays, but I am willing to try my hand at any number of different kinds. One thing you should know: I have a slight God-modding issue, which I am usually able to keep under control. Also, most of my posts air on the side of short-ness, especially when nothing is going on.
RP lit. Lvl. ranges from 3 to 4, depending on various factors.
Examples: Health and General Warfare: A hospital/ Mob RP Battleground: Earth! ( a crossover RP)
JOHNNY THE BAGPIPE v2: [PM] I've been a literate roleplayer for six years now. (Eek!) I'm a bit old-fashioned in that I consider an average of 1-3 paragraphs/post as being literate. I've done every subject under the sun, and I'm willing to do anything (some things with a little nudging) except anime/book/movie based (with a few rare exceptions.) I stopped roleplaying on sites like this for about a year, but I'm trying to get back into it. <3
Generally I play males, though I'm capable of females as well. I like to play in atypical settings, and I hate having every bit of the plot planned out ahead of time; let's go with the flow. I generally don't use profiles or pictures, but I'm okay with using them if you prefer it; like I said, I'm pretty oldschool about my roleplaying, back when you could jump into an open slot and just go.
At the moment, I prefer one on ones, but I'm open to groups.
I usually double, but I don't expect you to.
RP Lit Lvl. Slightly above 3. (Averaging 3 paragraphs per post, depending on what I'm given to work with.)
Examples: *cough* I don't have any. >3>
MewMeori: [PM] I've been role playing for about a year. I'm more use to chatplays, but I can be literate.
RP Lit Lvl.:Uh, mabye a three.
Examples: Really like doing fantasy rps. I also like rps based of anime/manga/videogames. I'm fine with anything fiction really.
Maia Hart: [PM]
I could fairly say that I am an author, though not of particularly high standing. From my childhood, my instructors always had good things to say of my writing ability, and I sought to fashion works of outstanding intricacy. Oddly, I wasn’t fond of writing on my own. It was a windfall that I found Gaia and, along with it, a substantial quantity of writing companions. In this community, I put forth a cornucopia of fictional publications that vary dynamically in basis and spirit. My typical plots and protagonists contrast starkly, for I am apt to consciously modify my approach from story to story. Still, I hold a bias toward accounts of magic, villains, and fantasy. Additionally, my protagonists usually maintain shards of a cryptic, painful past. I wish to polish my skills in your company, so forward any fitting applications my way.
In that last paragraph, you shall not find that which hangs its hat ‘twixt consonants D and F.
RP Lit Lvl. Between 3 to 5, usually around a 3.8
Examples: The Tavern League of Special Individuals(Mariana) League of Special Individuals(Secret)
Siblix: [PM] I am an advanced-literate writer. I can usually get up to about four paragraphs (more on a good day) with 5-10 paragraphs depending on the detail I put into it. You have to keep me interested otherwise I will become slow with replying. I also have a life (at times) and I can't always be on. I absolutely adore fantasy, action, romance, etc role plays. I only play with real people, never anime or drawings - that is unless I am using a werewolf, dragon, etc. I am capable of playing hetero characters aswell as yaoi pairings. I usually enjoy playing male characters than female, depending on the role. I love plot twists and dramatic happenings. I love to keep things interesting for the writers aswell as the readers.
RP Lit Lvl.: * * * *
Examples: Test Forum , One x One
Endless Skies / Masiro Himeyuri: [PM] I’ve been role playing since I discovered how to use the internet… About six years ago. I mostly roleplay as male characters… In fact, I think I’ve only roleplayed as a girl once. Speaking of which, the majority of roleplays I’m in are Yaoi, but I’m very versatile and open to almost anything besides Twilight plots. I will admit that my characters always seem to have some sort of strange phobia or disfigurement, from being afraid of touch to not having the ability to see and speak. I can have problems coming up with an idea for a post, and sometimes I’m busy with my part time job, but I would always private message you if something came up. My literacy is about a 3.5 to 4 out of five. The length of my posts depend on my mood and how tired I am (I work a lot and have insomnia), but I usually don’t post under three paragraphs unless I notice other people's posts getting shorter. The problem is I’m extremely self-conscious of my writing and I sometimes have trouble describing in heavy detail.
Examples: Sweeter the Addiction, New Hope Orphanage, Eyes covered by hate, Eyes Graced by Morphine.
Great_Aku_Ha: [PM] I'm the one to take the odd jobs in a Roleplay. Need someone cleaning a car or running a store? That's me. Need a villain? I'm your man. Need heroes? I'm there too. Need a leader? You've got one! Also, I roleplay as either sex.
I have no prefference to RPs. Having said that, I will not participate in a Roleplay that I deem unacceptable v. my invisble list of morals. This can range from a coupling I dislike or a story that I do not find well-put-together, to complete and utter Yaoi.
While I can work optimally at just about anything, I am highly knowledgeable in Gundam and Naruto Roleplays, and could even be considered an asset (toot-toot).
I always use full grammar and punctuation. The Epic English Textbook is my friend. I may also RP in several languages, particularly Japanese.
RP Lit Lvl. 5
Examples: Forgotten Village
Stakeout5: [PM] I tend to make a lot of male characters, and my females tend to be tough, strong willed, "un-girly" girls. I enjoy fictional roleplays usually, due to the fact that I use my vast imagination when writing. I'm sorry, but some neighborhood Nancy Drew storyline just doesn't cut it for me. The only fantasy roleplays that I can't stand are werewolves/vampires roleplays that are all-so common now. Don't get me wrong, the races are great, I enjoy being a werewolf in multiracial stories, but that is multiracial, being different. When it comes to my characters, I tend to make either seemingly cold or mischievous characters. I like to make good, evil, or selfish characters at random so that no one really knows my true intent at the beginning (hehehe). I honestly fear bad grammar and spelling more than death, so you will not see me playing with anyone like that. I also will not play in 1 on 1s (they're no fun).
RP Lit Lvl. 3-4
Examples: Being that this is a new account because my old one is evil, I will give examples when I get into a roleplay.
ShejiKakes: [PM] Roleplaying is what brought me to Gaia at 12, and now, 5 years later, its still something I enjoy doing. I have always been fond of high school roleplays, but every once in a blue moon I'll go out of my way to do mythical/sci-fi ones. I have not roleplayed in a while, but I'm always looking for a good one to join (though, my luck is not the greatest, so I never find any that strike any interest.) I usually always play a female role, but I do so love playing the perverted male figure every once in a while; it adds flare and comedy. I'm not against 1 on 1's, but I do prefer an atmosphere where I can engage in many different characters. I like shoujo-ai/yuri themed roleplays, but oddly enough, cannot do shounen-ai/yaoi themed ones. My ideal role is being a villian, and not just the insane kind either. :3
RP Lit Lvl. Between 3 and 4, not to much yet never to little.
Examples: I don't have any quiet yet, but please don't be afraid to ever just start up something small to see how hard I work!
Cosmic_Castaway [PM] Roleplaying is the meat of my Gaia life. It is one of the only things I enjoy on here, matter of fact. My characters are created in a manner of thinking that revolves around the questions of "What haven't I done in a character before?", "What does this RP need?" and "What can I do to fulfill both of the previous questions?" I try to not throw any monkey wrenches in the character through the middle of the story, because sudden personality twists or revelations are a form of illiteracy to me. Characters come naturally to me, but I keep to doing only one character per RP. There is only one RP where this has not been the case, and said second character was brought in because said RP was dying, so I decided to spice the plot up. So far, all my characters have been males, but ask me to do a female, and I will consider it. I am able to write in a variety of threads, though I refuse to do illiterate or semi-literate RPs. At the moment, I am only in series-based RPs, but I would love to do something original. If you ask me to RP in a topic I'm unfamiliar with, such as a video game I have not played, rest assured, I will do my homework. I am a fan of horror (very picky about it though), western, and science-fiction primarily, but fantasy is definitely an option; I have yet to encounter an RP I have joined that I did not enjoy.
RP Lit Lvl. 5, but if you don't give me anything to work off of, I'm shot down to 4.
Examples: [Star Wars: Requiem In Darkness], [Resident Evil: The Unborn (Revisited)] I would have more, but the rest are located in private guilds. So sorry.
Twilight_Tatsumi: [PM] Ah, well, RolePlaying was the start of my Gaian life. I remember the first time I RP-ed, with my mentor, Hikari_Valentine, on my first of three accounts. That was...about three years ago or so, and since then, I've become a better writer. Generally speaking, I like to write as a female character, whether she's an adolescent, a child, or an adult, however, I'm open to playing the male characters. If you want an overly emo person, I can give it to you. If you want the happy-go-lucky, I can give it to you. If you want the cute-but-evil-dictator type, I can do it. If you want the heartbroken-loser or the lovesick-idiot or the hopeless-romantic, you can expect me to fulfill. On another note...I like Shoujo-type roleplays, mostly involving love and romance and occasional fighting, but no roleplays entirely based off of fighting...none of that. I'm pretty updated on Naruto, Prince of Tennis, but none of that InuYasha or Bleach for me.
RP Lit Lvl. I'm thinking somewhere between a 3 and a 5; depends on what you want. If you want a literature level 5 post, then I will spend up to an hour making that post, but if not, I'll usually type anything from 2-5 paragraphs of good grammar and spelling. Unless the rare writers' block hits.
Examples: Green Vale High And I'll get more as soon as I join more RPs...
Fade to White: [PM] i generally use female characters, but i m trying to use more guys... i prefur to do 1 on 1 rps via pms... i like doing rps based in series(?) and AUs of those universes(because AUs awesome!). my current fandom is naruto (tee hee) but i am willing to do others(no bleach please!!). i tend to do drama and tragedy rps... i think i'm going too long now... so... most of my characters can be found here: squeekytheballetrat.deviantart.com
RP Lit Lvl. 1-2 ^_^
Examples: i unfortunately have no examples because most of my rps are done via phone and 1 on 1 talking
ps: the keyboard i am gonna be using mostly sucks with typing and doesn't put all the letters i type so idont wanna seem super illiterate... sweatdrop
Mort Faux: [PM] I love to RP, ever since I found an old copy of D'nD in the attic. The methods are different here, but the idea remains the same; telling a quality story through the interaction of creative characters. I hardly do anything on Gaia other than RP'ing, so you can expect if I'm on, I'm either searching for an RP to join or going along with one I'm already a part of. I play either gender of characters, depending on how I feel; my males tend to be overly dramatic in a comedic sense or megalomaniacs, and my females go along the lines of tomboyish or calm, collected manipulators. As for what RP's I prefer; I like fantasy style RP's, though not as often as others. My favorite style would have to be Sci-Fi or Mecha, as long as it isn't Gundum or overly generic. In an RP, I always try to watch how others type and do my best to match the general style of RP'ing. This means that if each post is only a few sentences, That's what I'll type, although I much prefer the more elaborate and descriptive kinds. This is the reason I post such a wide range for level; I tend to conform to what the RP requires.
RP Lit Lvl. 2-5
Examples: [Birthright Omega: Hearts] (I regularly clear out my subscribed threads, so only one for now)
MelaneeWhittaker: [PM] I can roleplay as pretty much anything. Males, females, herms, creatures from other worlds and such. the only roleplays I will not do are ones where I have to use a gun or play as a werewolf. I am a cat. I do not like dogs. I can easily adapt to any situation I am given, yet if I am free to 'control' the roleplay, I tend to end up accidentally seductive with most of my characters. o.O
RP Lit Lvl. Changes depending on the material I am given. If I know it, long reply. If I ahve no clue what is going on, short reponse.
Examples: Sadly I do not save my roleplay works, as I feel very modest. sad
Knight_Cecil_Widowmaker: [PM] I used to RP quite a bit, but stopped for quite some time for RL reasons. I am now actively searching for good, new RP's (I hate joining in far into an RP, I feel like I need to catch up) My Character has qite a few forms but has a pretty constant personality. I generally like fantasy RP's with a little bit of romance. I can do 1 on 1 but greatly prefer small groups.
RP Lit Lvl. (between 2 and 4)
Examples: Limbo RP
anime_tomboi: [PM] Hello. Call me Anime or Tai. Anyway, getting to what matters. I've been roleplaying for only something along the lines of three years, probably two of those years being consistent posting on a designated thread. Since size matters, my posts are never less than three paragraphs unless my partner is putting in less than is reccommended. (In other words, I like detail.) I can play boy or girl, stoic and aloof personalities or bubbly, wide-eyed dispositions. Species is not a problem as long as I know what it is. As far as the aforementioned extends, however... If your thread has the word "neko" or "kitsune" in it anywhere, I politely ask you not contact me. Also, while I'm at it, I don't really like school roleplays. PLOTS ARE MY FAVORITE. I don't like having to deal with huuuge amounts of background, so I like fresh roleplays. Sometimes I try to take a crack at the evil characters, but I'm soft. I will try my best if I have to, though! Fail. I love action and romance, even though writing romance makes me feel kind of embarrassed. I don't mind doing yaoi / yuri, as lon as it's clean. I hate cliches. Not everyone's parents can be dead, sorry. I love DETAIL. Incidentally, the hardest parts of roleplaying for me personally would be: one, working with material I don't want to work with. If I don't like what's happening, or if my peers are making replying difficult for me, I am less inclined to continue. Two, and the previous leads right here; Consistency. By far the most difficult thing for me is staying involved. Occasionally I drop off the face of the earth to have a life, but aside from that it is mostly forgetfulness. Open to group / 1 x 1 / thread roleplays if you so choose.
RP Lit Lvl. Really, it depends on what you give me to work with. I mirror post length / quality, but with motivation I will modestly assume a four.
Examples: Twisted Vines - I start at the post I linked to, username "Hale."
Poppci: [PM] I'm more of an author then an Rper some times. I love to write FAntasy, Grim, experimental, circus, freak, tourture, Yaoi (mild), and Vampire. I'll try almost anything once.
RP Lit Lvl. 3. I can be very literate if i want, but it depends on my mood.
Examples: { Sanctome } { Atlantis } AWWANNABE
i came buckets: [PM] i came buckets has been roleplaying since she joined Gaia, which has been a few years now. She is obviously a girl but does not always roleplay as one. She plays males as well. There are a lot of things Buckets, what you may call her, will roleplay. But, to make things easier, she will make a list of the things she won't do. No series related roleplays unless original characters are being used. She will not roleplay over PMs but will be willing to with a little persuasion. She is limitless and loves gore, violence, romance, mystery, sci-fi and sometimes fantasy. She loathes Twilight and etc. so don't dare ask. Bucket tends to love everyone she meets and is very friendly, even to people who seem harsh. Yaoi isn't her favorite thing, but she is willing to do it. Hetero and yuri are always LOVED. Send her a PM with the link in it and maybe she'll join. She normally isn't picky.
RP Lit Lvl. 4.5-5+
Examples: Un&&Deux&&Trois
ll-iLacey-ll: [PM] Lacey has roleplayed since August 2008. She roleplays females only and has most experience with school RP's, but will do fantasy/elemental ones too. She stays away for Twilight and series RP's, and also vampire ones for fear of Twihards.
RP Lit Lvl. 4-5
Examples: Tetra Color St. Mary Magdalene Catholic School Leviathon Academy of Magic
MusicTiempoCyn:[PM] I began roleplaying about three years ago, and I call myself literate. I don't quite understand the difference between advanced literate and literate, but I suppose under the right circumstances, I can churn out whatever you want. I roleplay practically anything; especially fantasy and action, both usually tend to have light undertones of romance, although that's not necessary. However, I veer away from slave/master, pirate, vampire genres. Yaoi is fine with me, yuri is out, because, well, because I don't play females. I'm on most every day, and I have the tendency to become idle. So I may still reply and then slip offline again. The only thing I do on Gaia is roleplay, so I'm either replying to something or chatting in the OoCs of threads.
My characters tend to be either arrogant jerks, cold loners, or naive children. I roleplay strictly guys - I don't really care if you think that's weird, because my female characters are lame. I don't do them justice.
RP Lit Lvl. 3-5 I require thoughtful responses to keep up a level 5 amount going though.
Examples: sтɣℓє
Saru Doodle: (or Sky) [PM] Is a twisted rocker and could care less what other people say about her. She hates haters. And her favorite logo is a clown head. Pretty much the gist of it.
RP Lit Lvl. (#1-5, 1=asterisks, 5=length, detail, correctness.) I'm a 2 or 3
Examples: Sets in the corner with her black squishy head phones in her ears. Bobbing her head slightly from her favorite song as she watches everyone else go on with their life. About a half minute later she reaches into her bag and pulls out a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. Continuing to enjoy her music she starts chowing down on one of her favorite sandwiches.
~Cha~rly~: [PM] I can do really any RP that I'm given, but I will only do male characters. I love to RP with original characters, and will not I repeat not do an existing character. I do not mind series based RP's so long as they've come up with their own plot. I like gore, violence, and sometimes being evil.
RP Lit Lvl. 1-5, I prefer to do 3-4. I started with a guild the RP'd at a lvl 1, and have done posts in my own guild that are at lvl 5.
Examples: Youkai High - Long RP area & Youkai High - Start of guild plot
