Welcome TO THE PENPAL GUILD The idea of having a penpal is not a new one! But the thought of and love for it has never died out, and that is why I am here today, looking for a penpal! I am sure many people would like a penpal, a fellow person, who is interesting simply because they live elsewhere and have a different story, to speak and share your thoughts with. Sometimes it proves much easier to pour your heart out to a stranger than to even a best friend. Would it not be great to have someone to: - vent to or help out - send your artwork to - share your pictures with - send stories to for critique - give advice to or receive advice from - make things for - share your birthday with - exchange ideas, recipes, theories - talk to about school and life in general - and much more So, members of the Gaian Nation, I appeal to you with this question: Would you like a penpal? IF SO, PLEASE READ ON Interested? Great. All you have to do is fill out a form. IF YOU DO NOT READ ALL OF THIS, YOU WILL PROBABLY SCREW UP AND THUS NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO THE DATABASE. The database is in my website outside of Gaia, but it will be accessible through the next post. You can flip through these database, which are organized in such a way that if you have a preference, you will find who you are looking for. Their Gaian username will be in their profile, and you can contact them either through private message, sending them your profile as well. After this, it is up to you to decide whether you trust this person with your mailing address. In order to be put into this database, I will need to review your profile form. Please post it in this thread and I will get to it as soon as possible. PROFILES THAT ARE HARD TO READ, ARE SPOKEN IN |337 GRAMMAR, OR DO NOT KNOW HOW TO WRITE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON (i.e. with the use of punctuation and capitalization) WILL BE IGNORED. For little mistakes, such as spelling, I am given the liberty to correct them for you. Cute textual faces are fun, I do not care about those. But talking in sTiCkY caps will get you killed in a very painful manner. WAIT until your profile is added to the database. Should take a couple of days. DO NOT request a penpal until you have your profile in the database! Once you and your penpal have agreed to be penpals, SEND ME A PM and tell me both your names so that I can add you here and delete your profiles from the database (if you still want your profile in the database for more penpals, tell me). Decide you want a penpal. 2. Fill out the form LEGIBLY and INTELLIGENTLY or yours will be ignored. 3. WAIT for yours to appear in the database (it should take a couple of days). 4. Search the database for a partner or two and PM them your profile. 5. Have a penpal! And PM me your names so that I can add you guys here and remove you from the database! |
