Ugh. I have terrible bone structure...apparently being sad makes my knees hurt... :[

I saw some kind of hawk on campus. It dived down and caught a squirrel about 20 feet away from me. A pretty neat sight.

Howdy War-war.

Hm. Up is a great movie.

Is up the one with the old guy and the balloons?

And yes, War-war is you, War.

Yes, UP is the one where the old guy attatched a large ammount of balloons to his house, and flies away to nevernever land with his little trusty boy scout... I can so ruin children stories twisted

This is horrifying.
I'd like to see a similar poll done in America.

I personally had to teach myself about WWI & WWII. In America, I'd say that the average year that all of the kids learn (in depth?) about all of this stuff is 10th grade. That's when I learned it and that's when tons of people I know (from gaia) took World History and were actually educated.

Besides, in primary school, all I really learned about WWII wasn't even the war... it was more like I learned about the holocaust and all of the s**t the Jews went through... Concentration camps, how crazy Hitler was, etc. >w>

So, that poll was pretty accurate. Although, their sheer ignorance of their own symbols and things was pretty upsetting.
[edit] Excuse me, I meant to say that the questions asked would probably turn up similar results. Whoops.

So naive, I keep holding on to what I want to believe.
I can see, but I keep holding on and on and on and on!

I had to teach myself, too. Until I got to my senior year in high school, when I was allowed to take a whole bunch of history-related electives.

You'd think they'd at least know who Hitler was. Mein gott.

Sounds like there's a bit of selective teaching going on.

I'd like to see where these studies were conducted, in specific.
As a psychologist, and a student of sociology, I find it is in my better interest to not only look at the data, but look at where and how the data was collected =.=

As a future history professor and/or curator (maybe) I feel somewhat irked at the ignorance of the world's history.
