I'm watching that "Human Prey" show again. I had to, 's got a hyena!
A loner, of course, hunting around for easy prey. Fun fact: Hyenas may have ape-like intelligence. They also are more cooperative than wolves, but try telling that to the tween girls. EDIT: Oh geez, the narrator just said "surprisingly, many survivors of such attacks do not blame the animal." Mein gott. I sure wouldn't; the animals are operating by instinct. You go into their territory, you could become prey. |

Although, given the general stupidity of humans, I'd say that is fairly surprising.
Anyone know how to switch your computer to headphones without unplugging the speakers? (Windows XP, if it makes any difference.) I'm too lazy to go and get my MP3 player to test out a pair I found lying around. xD |

Uh, I don't know. -mystified- I can plug my headphones into my speakers. First, though, I would have to dig the speakers out from behind my monitor and piles of... books and things. |

The speaker bits aren't actually covered up, it would just be very hard to get to them due to the stuff in front of them. Also I have super hearing.
I really want that new(ish) Plague Noir item. But not enough to shell out actual money. |

@Irra: There are some sites where I would pay real money to get some pixels, but Gaia isn't one of them. Also I don't have that much real money, so I'm not spending it on anything virtual just now.

@Demi: I have bought a few things from Gaia, but very rarely. I've gotten cheaper as I've gotten older, so I can't think of any instance now when I would pay real money for pixels. I'm more concerned about things such as, oh lets see, repaying off my college loans after I graduate. x__x

I've always been cheap, but lately it's gotten insane.
Like... I know that forty bucks is a perfectly reasonable price for a good peacoat, but then I say "Eh, let's wait for a sale." Even though I kind of need a winter coat. :/ |

There are certain that I will "splurge" on, if I think they will serve a significant purpose and have a lasting value. Something like a nice winter coat, if I did not already have one, would qualify. I just got a new winter coat actually, since my old one had become too small.

Hiya Irra! Chi is faring mostly well. I'm very tired, though, and wish to take a nap, but have work soon! D: I'm much the same you are, Demi. I need a winter coat, too, and have been looking for a good one, but can't seem to find any for good prices. XP Recently though, I found this and this and they make me definitely consider going to visit the local mall, especially that second one. biggrin |
