Why do people try and recruit from an already existing guild and with bad grammar to boot? And who the hell uses "peace out cub scout" anymore? Well assuming pce=peace anyways. Maybe it means Pisces or something and I don't realize it.

Mainly because the don't understand that buying guilds used to be a giant gold sink but is just a trivial gold sink for people to learn that they don't know how to manage other people beyond some appealing to lowest common denominator.

I thought I'd just say it in case one of them is willing to start the long trek to becoming one of the cool kids :b

I've been around now for over a year and I think that is just about the same amount of warm welcoming I still get- except they were excited I had Chun Li in my siggy at that point. I think this was the place... it was a long time ago. Anyways, it helps to be able to form a sentence... things might go over more smoothly. sweatdrop

It's sort of like if a five year old goes asking the 18 year olds nearby if they want to join his couch fort. Maybe if one is related to them they'll put up with those shenannigans but otherwise he's just annoying a bunch of people who have no interest in his trivial little kid s**t.

I wouldn't call that making friends though. It was a copyandpaste clickme link so he's advertising something to us and he's way the ******** out of his demographic. Untargeted advertising is annoying as hell so it's the least I can do if he feels ashamed afterward.[/rant]
