Lord Raul? Are you kidding? I believe I mentioned this was my first time with ren style costume *lol*
I doubt I could find the materials. I mean I got alot at JoAnn fabrics but do they even sell gold shineies? The silver bracers alone would be difficult as hell. Which is why I went with leather. My original plan was Robin Hood but then I saw a wooden sword that looked like the sword of truth to me. So he's like the in between, still Seeker of Truth before he found out Darken Raul was his dad. In my head Lord Raul Richard looks more like a super hero anyway... Also, I will admit I'm using the TV series costume as a guide. Though the blue I never pictured that. The book says it's just browns and greens I thought... |

On another note I am also helping a friend with her Mord Sith costume. That one would be easy for me considering in the past I made a Psycho Mantis cosplay from Metal Gear Solid, and regrettably made some bedroom costumes for some of my female friends like Pepper... *bleh*
I also have another friend going as Kahlan. Which will be cool do yeah. *lol* This will mark my tenth cosplay costume! I'm very excited. My other costumes include: Wolverine Inyasha Benjamen "Bugsy' Segal Irvine Kinneas from Final Fantasy VIII The Punisher Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid Kratos from God of War Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who Inuyasha was my first and only anime cosplay, never again. Anime cosplay is soooo hard to pull off I almost did Gene Starwind from Outlaw Star but chose Irvine instead that year. Intrestingly enough I kept most of my outfits, Doctor Who was easy, all I needed was the glasses and a combination of Irvine and Bugsy's costumes. Also, my own converse shoes. I went the extra mile when I made the sonic screwdriver though. *lol* The most difficult costume by far was Inuyasha. Psycho Mantis was even easier, well not to wear anyway. My ribs hurt for a month after that costume. |

EDIT: Okay, I found out how to gather followers without a facebook. Doing repetitive tasks over and over again is nothing to a MMO player. Max XP was easy. |
