The Hidden Kingdom
The Legend
There is a Kingdom among the mountains that is said to only appear when the moon is out. Everyone has given it the nickname The Hidden Kingdom for there are some who don't believe it exists, they thought it was a folktale, a myth if it were.
But they were wrong,
The legend starts long ago where an Archduke, jealous of the King's rule decided to tamper with Black magic. He researched books of old magic and forbidden alchemy and invented a spell. The spell he concocted made the entire kingdom plus all the people who lived in it become invisible. Unless there is a full moon, the castle and it's inhabitants can be seen.
When the castle is seen it is easily mistaken for being haunted and people fear it so much they will not go near it. However even though the royal court who were victimized by the spell they can see others effected by the curse.
The inhabitants of the castle are trapped inside the Kingdom boundaries for one thousand years. The inhabitants have not aged nor are they dead. The curse made the castle booby trapped with riddles and clues. Solve the riddles correctly they become that much closer to escaping. Fail to solve the riddles in an amount of time and you're dead and become trapped in the castle forever and you'll turn into a vicious spirit. The ones who successfully escape the kingdom limits can break the curse by being touched by the light of day. If they end up escaping while it' still dark out they will become a vicious spirit.
Everyone has a rank they may choose. the powerful your rank the more power you have
The Ranks
This is where you choose your rank for the Kingdom, you may move up a rank depending on the Vice Captains and Captain.. There may be more than one person who can be of any of the Ranks on this list. Except the higher ranks, The Higher Ranks are given by the Captain and Vice Captains. Choose your rank and when you do make a character profile in the role play subforums.
