I was looking for some help pertaining to an issue with my Guild.

For some odd reason anyone who isn't a member of my crew can't post in the forums or anything.

Is there someway to fix that?

Check what privacy settings you have on each forum or subforum as it is possible to make them viewable only to crew or above so that you can have an area to discuss things privately.

If I locked a topic would that make it why they couldn't post?

YES! The whole point of locking a thread is to stop other users posting in it.

Out of curiosity, what did you think locking a thread did?

Kept it in place, so it didn't move if another thread was posted.

Sooo... there isn't any use for donated gold other than making new subforums?

I am starting a guild for people with various disabilities. Because people will be discussing complex personal issues, I made a rule on my homepage stating that user privacy is to be respected at all times. Basically, the rule states that what is said within the guild stays within the guild and should not be discussed outside our walls. Can I automatically ban members for breaking a rule like this?

If you want to stop posts from moving down the page you should mark them as Announcements or Stickies. They both always stay at the top.

You can also use it to post guild announcments. The cost changes depending on how many members are in your guild.

To the guild account. It can only be spent on buying new guild sub-forums and sending out guild announcements.

How do you mean "automatically"?
If you mean can you set something up to do it for you then I'm guessing something like that doesn't exist.
If you want to ban people for breaking the rules you have set though, then I see no reason why you can't do that manually.

I meant 'automatically' as in there would be no second chances for breaking that rule.

State that along with the rules and I don't see how anyone can come back at you for it.
