Are you trying to place your home in towns 2?
Because you no longer need to look for location, just choose the place:Gambino, Aekea, Durem or Barton.

To do so:

Go to towns 2 look for any peer and select the yellow/orange icon with home image
2.- select create neighbour
3.- select the place you want your neighbour to be
4.- select the home style

What is the message you are receiving?
Because if it something related to "you've not set your home yet!" I do assume that is a generalized bug happening to the recent newcomers and those that never placed their home in original towns. But this sometimes can be fixed by just cleaning your cache and trying to place your home as explained before.
