The Overseer gave me Lidless Demon Armor (Boots) today!
My aquarium health is at 15.99 and my fish range between xxxx12 and xxxx32. (The 12 is a newer goldfish.) I have 8 fish in the tank... 2 arrow fish, 1 sharktooth, 1 spikey and the rest goldfish.
I feed three or four times a day, and always click twice each time I feed. I keep the temp. at chilly, which suits all the types of fish I have, and the light on natural. Song is the Conch song.
I did go through a few days of nothing from the Overseer, but I think most of us did while Gaia was down or just having problems.
I won't get an octopus, because their settings do not agree with the other fish I have.
Due to the almost same fish stats this lead me to this assumption, You get better items for you fish tanks overall health. So to get the best item you need the best health you can get. Which would lead me to say get more items to decorate your tank but do the normal for the fish and you should increase rather rapidly.
I don't know if this will be helpful, but I found some information on the Starfish and Cuttlefish. Cuttlefish starter happiness is 1000, Starfish is 20000; Cuttlefish only likes Natural light, Starfish likes both; Cuttlefish likes Chilly and Moderate temperatures, while Starfish can go through any of them.
redface I hope I can help someone, and I hope I'm not really wrong with these...
I did a little trial and error with my Cuttlefish. It seems that it likes when the music is set to The Conch Song, and it doesn't like Kelp! too much. I think I'll see what other music suits it a little later.
'Chu drive me nuts, Rock. <3
Questing White Ink: 135/500
I can has yer unwanted trash and inks (color doesn't matter)? Hmm? XD
How long does it take for your fish's happiness to drop if you're doing something they don't like? Also, is there usually a delay for their happiness to show when you put them in the tank?
When i put my cuttlefish in, its happiness didn't show until i played with the temperature. I put it to Moderate, which one of my fish doesn't like, and he got happy and started eating. When i turned it back down to Chilly, he still ate and had a little heart next to his head after the change.
Bamboo as well seems to help overall tank health a lot. I'm hearing that all around and observing that in my own tanks.
I don't know about anyone else but my goldfish(s) are nuts about the bamboo decorations in my tank. I swear they will spend hours and hours playing hide and seek with my Arrows and my Sharktooth Fish. roflrofl Some may debunk this as myth but my Arrows loved the Aquarium Robot. As soon as I put it in the tank, both my arrowfish(s) happiness shot up 8 points...just an observation.
Light- Natural
Music- O' Lighthouse
Temperature- Moderate
That's what my tank is set for and my Cuttlefish as well as my Goldfish and Arrowfish all love it smile
But I am confused as to one main thing here.. Why is it that even though I am feeding all my fish and adding new things into my aquarium, why won't anything change.. It hasn't changed since I put my Cuttlefish in there yesterday and my Overseer won't open O.o... Is it bugged or something? (Note I haven't changed those settings from what they are at now since like three days ago and for two days everything was fine)
I just want to say thank yuou so so so so so SO much for making this thread its perfect adn has helped me get my fish happier faster ^_^ i hope this stays aroudn a long time. Im about to go back and look but If you havent yet, are you goign to have any infor on teh new Star and Cuttle Fishes soon?
*wave* Alrighty, so... I didn't change anything in my tank but had some major boosts today. Everything increased higher than normal, and the fish no longer want to die. At 20.11%, the new status is "Deprived of basic care and attention, your aquarium has deteriorated into a prison where only the strong and cruel survive." Very happy fish (all requirements met) jumped 12 points, as opposed to the usual 4. I don't know if this is due the new status or if Gaia changed some settings to make happiness increase faster. Even the jump in overall tank happiness was more than usual (16.99 to 20.11 in one day). My guess is that Gaia changed the settings - thought I'd leave a report/update either way since this at least answers the question of when the fish no longer want to die.
Thank you from everyone for the reports. I've been out of town this weekend, but I'm working on updating everything now, including the information on the two new fish. I have a cuddlefish myself and will be experimenting with him.
Could someone with the Starfish let me know what music they like? Thanks.
The day is only as bright as you let it become.
You are Much Loved when you Love Much.
