This guide has been amazing! I've been off of Gaia for some odd years now (sad, I know) and this has been an excellent refresher! This doesn't have to do so much with coding, but I've noticed the new fad lately has been to load posts with images and other fun designs. Do you have any websites on reference where people may be finding a majority of these images? They most consist of segmented borders, bars to separate text, and shadowing/distortion effects to pictures (I know of photobucket and piknik - that spelling may be incorrect - but I wasn't sure if there is a newer, more modern website that better encompasses the two).

I've always been an "indigo" user myself, and frankly it's the only color that's ever caught my eye This is probably dating myself, but there was no tektek when I joined Gaia, and I was fairly new to BB coding. I'm SO happy to find a new color that makes me smile when I look at my posts smile

Haha~ New colors have new effects on people. 4laugh

As for any new websites, I honestly do not know of many, myself. I mainly use photobucket for my image hosting, but I use a free program called GIMP for all my image creations and editing. (Unfortunately, I am not very good with it, so I couldn't exactly help, either. emo )

I sometimes use ImageShack, but I'm not entirely certain as to how much editing can be done on the site. (I just know there's a little "Edit" button. sweatdrop )

You use the color code inside the url code. Like so:

[url=http://www.gaiaonline.com][color=pink]Gaia Online[/color][/url]

or like this:

[color=pink][url]http://www.gaiaonline.com[/url][/color]
