LD Support Thread Master List

We have so many support threads here that I forget which subjects we have covered. I’ve compiled this list in an attempt to make things a bit easier to find.

I’ve tried to get support threads that seem either recently created or that show recent activity on here, but I'm sure there's some mistakes. If an entry is wrong (e.g., I’ve missed a thread or included a dead thread), reply and I’ll update this list. Some items are cross-listed.

I noticed that too. Since when do threads become 'old and decrepit'? I've never heard of that being a thing before.

what is vampirism?

think it is interesting for what it doesn't have, like no feminism support thread but there's mgtow threads, no victims of oppression, no alcoholism thread, no psychotics thread, etc.

first two because i think of this as the liberal forum (or more liberal).
alcoholism surprised me just because so many people out here in flatland are friends of bill w.
last one just because there seems to be a lot of ppl with psychosis on LD

To put it very simply, the idea is that a person with it requires and benefits from the regular consumption of the blood or psychic energy (one, the other, or either depending on the person) of other people, while their physical health suffers the longer they go without it. There's actually a community built around it, made up of those who describe themselves as vampires and their donors. It's a fairly sizeable community, if pretty much entirely underground.

My only experience with consuming blood was after I had all four of my wisdom teeth yanked and I bled down my throat. It really upset my stomach for days afterwards...ugh. I don't think that community is for me.

Otherwise, I just think of Spike eating blood and Weetabix on Buffy... rofl

I hear that having the wisdom teeth removed is a pain in the a**, which is strange because that is not where teeth grow.
I think it's something like... a few cups, is the most blood the average person can ingest without getting sick (I haven't heard the amount in a long time). I can't say I've ever consumed anywhere near that much, but I think it tastes okay. In my case, though, it's just that I'm already bleeding after an accident or something and figure I might as well do the thing before I patch whatever needs patched.
