When selling a guild you may find it hard to decided upon what it should be sold for. If you make the price too high, no-one will buy it. If you make the price too low, then you'll be ripped off. I have decided that there should be a system for creating the perfect price. First, you need to know what increases the value of a guild:

- The guild's ID number (the lower the better)
- Subforums (the higher the better, to an extent)
- Gold in the Guild Account (the higher the better)
- Cleared out? (If yes then better)
- Post count (the higher the better)
- Member count (the higher the better)

With all this in mind, I shall attempt to devise a system. First, the base price:

Normally, when you buy a guild, it costs 20,000 gold. However, when you sell it, you MUST sell it for less. Think of it this way. A new car costs more than the same model of used car. I would recommend 10,000 gold. Next, I'll look at the Guild ID.

As I mention earlier, the lower the ID, the better. Any ID close to 0 is a rare. Basically, I think that it increases in value by 270%. This means that your 10,000 base price is now 37,000 gold! And that's before we have added everything else. However, it is very unlikely that your guild has this low an ID. If the guild ID is over 10,000 then it is not a selling point. It increases the value by 0%. These are what I would class as the 2 extremes. If the Guild ID is around 5000, then the guild's value increases by about 40%. I've draw a graph, so you can see that the increase gets steeper as the ID gets lower:

Now onto the post count.

In the list above, I mention post count. The higher this is the better. I think that it should be exactly the same as the Guild ID, only the other way around. You won't find many guilds with a post count of 10,000, so that's rare, while a post count of 0 is worth nothing:

Now onto Gold in the Guild account.

This one is quite easy. Get the gold and find 75% of it. Then add it on to the current total. Now on to Subforums.

The list above states that the more subforums you have, the higher the value. However, after 7 subforums, they begin to decrease in value. However, I have devised a method for this.
0 subforums = +0 Gold per subforum
1-3 subforums = +2000 gold per subforum
4-6 subforums = +1500 gold per subforum
7-9 subforums = +1000 gold per subforum
10+ subforums = +750 gold per subforum
Now onto member count.

Yet again, I shall make another graph to describe this one.

Finally, on to the Cleared out section.

This is the easiest of the easiest. If it's cleared out, add 1000 gold to your total.

Now you have your total and it's probably something like 24518. If it is then you should round it up using this guide:
10000 - 15000 = Round up to the nearest 1000
15001 - 20000 = Round up to the nearest 2500
20001 - 30000 = Round up to the nearest 5000
30001+ = Round up to the nearest 7500

That's it! The entire system! I know it is long, and requires a lot of maths work (hunts for calculator) but it's worth it in the end. I'm going to use an example for using this system.

Base price = 10000
Guild ID = Over 10k (+0%) (10000)
Post Count = 21 (+0%) (10000)
Gold in account = 1410 (+157 cool (1157 cool
Subforums = 1 (+2000*1) (1357 cool
Member Count = 8 (+0) (1357 cool
Cleared Out? = Yes (+1000) (1457 cool
Rounded total = 14578 (Round up to the nearest 1000) (15000)

Total worth = 15000 Gold

A final tip. The guild I have used as an example is worth 15000 gold, but you should always aim to get more than it's worth. Add on about 20% of the guilds worth, but be willing to haggle.

If you wish to place any feedback into this thread, I will be thankful. Thankyou for reading and I hope this helps.
