I thought the pomegranate was Armenian
*shrugs* To be honest, I don't know. But Persephone is Greek and all I know is for the life of me, when you read the story of Persephone she eats a pomegranate or at least the seeds and spends half of her time in Hades and the other half on the surface because she only ate 6 seeds. I'm sure it's Greek too, though.
I'm just saying that pomegranates are Armenian, and I know that Persephone is a Greek god. I never heard of the story
Pomegranates are Greek as well or found in Greece or Greece cooking. I Googgled it. They even found a dried pomegranate in Egypt in one of the Queen's tombs. So they're not just Armenian if that's what you mean.
