Reason for item modification: Uh.. I was wondering if you could scale the toolbar down, height-wise. The current buttons and search-box are far bigger than necessary, and it just looks untidy. The context menu buttons are okay at that size though.

i'm having a problem.
i know it works because it works for me on other computers, so i think this might just be a problem on this computer because it's like 5 years old (that's pretty old to me).
i installed the toolbar and now i can't start up firefox. it says something like firefox has an error and needs to close, and you can click ok or debug, but debug doesn't do anything. i need to un-install the toolbar but i can't do that if i can't even open firefox...
i uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it just now, but that didn't change anything.

I installed the toolbar and it screwed up the way webpage scripts and formats were handled universally. Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox did not work, after removing the plugin.
Now I have to completely purge my Firefox data from the documents and settings.
Feedback -1.

Open Firefox in safe mode (If you look in the "All Programs" list in the start menu, then highlight "Mozilla Firefox" you'll see "Mozilla Firefox" and "Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)" ), then after it's loaded Firefox up, open the Add-ons window and uninstall the toolbar.

I'd just like to point out that the toolbar shouldn't make Firefox crash; perhaps the .xpi file you installed it from got corrupted or altered in some way. Make sure you're downloading it from either www.tektek.org or addons.mozilla.org.

Megumi, you can remove the toolbar in the same way.

Only purging the data stored in Local Data/Application Data/Mozilla worked.

If you tried removing the toolbar extension through safe-mode, and the problem persisted even after the toolbar was gone, then the fault lies elsewhere.

New Description:
Reason for item modification:

The TekTek toolbar, when coupled with the GaiArch bar produces some interesting results when trying to post the :X_X: Emote.

TekTek's :X_X: URL:
http://public.tektek.org/img/emotes/x_x.gif

The x_x part of that URL is overwritten with GaiArch's URL for the x_x smilie:

Producing this URL:

Can you just change the emote code on GaiaArch? I'm not sure, but if you can, that would be the fastest.
