jackalust - do you get the autoformat tab when you go to options? if so, maybe change the settings there? (totally guessing here - but it doesn't hurt to try, right?)

edit: i had never seen the check box either, but i had them all set to 'never' in options>autoformat. so i went & changed it & the check box appeared. hope it works for you :hyper:

♥ @Jackalust: Did you perhaps install the version from mozilla's site? If you did, I suggest to re-install the toolbar from tektek's website. The one on mozilla.org is bugged. You can find a link to it in the first post of this thread.

And another thing. I finally managed to reproduce the bug that causes the skip autoformat box to be checked at certain times. If you start typing before the reply page is done loading, the skip autoformat box will be checked. If you let it load and THEN start typing, the box will be unchecked. I was able to reproduce this at least 3 times, which is the criteria for bugs. ♥

The box doesn't even APPEAR. (and yes I'm aware of that thing considering I've experienced before when my toolbar actually did work).

I've re-downloaded the one from tektek's site multiple times and it STILL does the same thing. The check box just flat out doesn't exist anymore, but all the other features are still there.

@__@ As I said, I still get the TekFormat 1 2 and 3 bars still.
The ONLY thing I don't get is the AUTO-post format (the little check box thing). I still cannot find out why I do not get this feature.

⟣˳I just noticed that the "Shop of Fancy" is still in the Gaia Places -> Shopping drop down menu. So when you update the toolbar with the two new shops, you can take that unacceptable one out.

Is there some way to hide the entire bar? mine seems to have disappeared but it still auto formats my posts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now, and the preferences dont show me anything that would hide the bar, nor do i see anything under firefox's prefs

im using a mac with firefox btw

Recently my auto format has not been giving me the option to disable it from time to time it really gets annoying when im trying to edit something i don't want formatted actually had to disable the auto format yesterday it did it 3 times in a row
