GaiaOnline Firefox Toolbar 2.1 ~ Feb 14 Emote Fix

HALP!

Whenever I save a new post format,
It will save,
but when I close my browser and reopen it,
My post style won't be the same.
It will be my old post style.
And when I update "My Links"
It wont save that either.
I have tried un-installing and reinstalling it numerous times,
and it still wont fix.
I don't know why.
It works fine on my other computer,
but not on this one.
This computer is a bit outdated
(its a dino)
but it used to work fine until the new update came out,
now it just sucks!
Any way I can fix this?

Can you release a Firefox 3 version of your toolbar?

I tried to update the old toolbar (the one with the images and the not-ugly menus) to Firefox 3, but I failed miserably. sad

Shame, because I really liked the old one better. That's the one thing I loved about the TekTek toolbar: it never changed, even when Gaia's layout did.

Edit: Even the new version doesn't work. I hacked it to work with Firefox 3b4, and made the extension icon the standard size (35px) so it wouldn't be double-height in the about me box.

However, it's not possible to go to forums that are more than two levels deep on the menu. For example, going to this forum (Guides and Resources) is impossible. It is at Forums -> Gaia Online -> Q&A -> Guides. Clicking on its button takes you to the Q&A forum. Clicking on the Q&A button also takes you there, so that works.

I tested it with the Friend Chat forum, and had the same problem. It takes you to the top level forum.

I'm not too sure as to why this is happening, but every time I try and install the newer version of the toolbar and restart Firefox, it says that Firefox.exe has to be terminated. confused

I remember asking a mod a month about and I was told it is reportable.
It's basically a program to obtain info even if it's a script command using it.

many websites have php coding to view gold even tektek you enter in a user name on the questbar and it displays the gold.

To all speaking about the Gold-Getter and such abilities to look at someone else's gold, it is reportable if you abuse it and make it known that you are using it. i.e. "LOL U ONLY HAVE 6k?", yep, can be reported, and temp-banned. It's a violation of privacy, don't know if it's specifically stated in the ToS, but it can definitely get you into trouble if you say something to the wrong person. stay out of trouble. ;]

Reason for item need: I used to use it to link people to the Hacking Reports as well as the guides I had found that were helpful. With the recent update, the links section is no longer available and I can't seem to find it under any of the tabs and I've looked. There is no "links" in the latest update. Please add it back.
