UPDATE:
Friday, December 2nd
Gaia Towns items have been released. Its all based around bouquets and even rare flies are useful only to get inks to make different colored bouquets. Expect their prices to fall - I kinda screwed up and over-reacted before I saw the announcement and bought a bunch of demonflies for too high. (lost a couple hundred K I think because of that. -_-)

Thursday, December 1st
EDIT Looks like the stuff that I did indeed screwed up the artificial inflation. Yays. :3 (lost 80K from opening letters but it was totally worth it to save the economy from such blasphemy)

Some idiots are inflating the prices of Angelic Pendants artificially in the vend. I am now attempting to counteract their plans but I may not succeed. DO NOT BUY MY PENDANTS OR THEIR PENDANTS. They are artificially inflating prices so that they -look- like they increased. The marketplace is too easily influenced to be trusted in this case (Obviously, how can pendants go higher than Junes all of a sudden, when they were 100K just a couple hours ago? They weren't even 100K a couple hours ago actually)

DIE price inflators. DIE.

Okay, I was waiting for a nice day off to revamp this guide, basically redoing all the links and adding the casino parts, as well as towns, because I really didn't want to do it during a stressful day and get a headache. But I'm getting to the point where if I don't do it on a stressful day, I won't get it done at all because I really don't have many days off to myself. If at all. >.>

Links should hopefully be done tonight. Items for the Casino and Towns may be there but at least I'll have something there tonight. I'll updated things as much as I can outside of those too. I already did most 03s.

Thursday, November 24th
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We at the GCG thank you all for supporting the guide, for your discussions and thoughts, for your bumps and for your publicizing, and most of all, just for using the guide. ^^ Thank you from Alexi personally to the crew members as well and to everyone associated with GCG. ^^ heart

Tuesday, November 22nd
The November 2005 donations have been released. Here is a link to the thread:

http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11067201

Items are:

User ImageNitemare Parasol
User Image Sno Yeti Pillow Plush(chillin')

Avatar arena was also released - you can get there by clicking the art arena. You can submit your avatar there and maybe win a prize. ^^

EDIT There is also an avatar saving workaround - simply change Mitsukake to Reinhart in the address bar when saving. Changing clothes may take awhile due to heavy traffic.

Monday, November 14th
-Misled Sarah- and MiniLain have joined the crew. ^^ Sarah will be doing commons under my old format, which is easier to search through. MiniLain will be taking care of Graphics. She'll be setting up a thread in the guild.

Monday, November 14th
Updated some of the 03 and 04 donations as I haven't had a chance to update them fully for a couple days.

An Introduction to the Items on Gaia

If you are completely new...
WARNING!: If you are new, before you read anything, CLICK AND READ THIS OFFICIAL LINK thoroughly. It will tell you all you need to know about Gaia. The following is an item introduction ONLY.

For those who don't know everything about items on Gaia and all the ways you can obtain them, please read this introduction to items.

If you're a veteran please feel free to skip this! ^_^

Introduction to Items.
As you know, Gaia is filled with a great variety of different items you can equip on your avatar. Items are available in many different ways though, not just from the store. You may have seen the odd item floating around on a user somewhere that is not in any of the stores. You may wonder how people earn so much money and you're still poor as dirt, or you want to learn how to make money doing business. This is where this introduction comes in.

How to obtain items.

You can obtain items from NPC Shops, but you can also get them from Rare Events, Holiday/Gaia Events, and Donation Letters. You can obtain them from other users too. You can also win a medal at the Art Contests held each month if you are a very talented artist. Each will be explained here in case you don't know what I'm talking about.

NPC Shop Items (aka Store items): On the Map there are many different stores that you can click. NPCs (non-player character) can sell you items in these shops. When someone talks about a Store Item, they are talking about the items you can get from the shops on the map. The first page of this Guide will show you what items there are available in the stores.

Rare Events (aka Boxes, Trunk, Pink Link): Occasionally on Gaia, while you're posting or lurking, you will get a rare event. A eek face will appear next to your avatar and you will either get a Pink Link (a link on the screen that is ringed with pink) or a floating item, either a trunk or a floating giftbox. If you don't see your event, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "If you can't see your event, click here" link.

-A Pinklink gives you 1000 gold when you click it. I don't have an example, but its really hard to miss.

-An Enchanted Trunk will look like this. These give you an uncommon item when opened, but you may want to think twice about opening them, as the chances for getting a good item are slim. You can simply sell the trunk for gold. Click here for a look at what you can get from a trunk. Click here

-A Pink Giftbox will look like this. These give you a rare item. Like the trunk, you may want to think twice about opening these, unless you're feeling really lucky. You can usually fetch more on average by selling the box than by opening it. Click here to look at what you can get from a trunk. Click here

-A Blue Giftbox will look like this. When opened, these randomly select any item you can get from a Pink Box or a Trunk, or give you the Blue Box-specific item, Space Monster Mask. Worth less than the Pink Box, and worth more than the Trunk.

Event items: These are items you get for doing something at Gaian events. Examples of items given out in Gaia events are Olympic T-Shirts at the Gaian Olympics, Rose Corsage and Black Bowtie for the first Gaia Ball, and other such items as the recent Jacked Up Items users got for trick-or-treating at Halloween. These items are limited in number because after the event is over, they are no longer given out. Depending on their popularity, they can range in price from hundreds of gold to millions of gold in worth. In general, event items will increase in worth over time, some more than others. Click here to see a list of all the event items to date. Click here

Donation Letters: Donation letters are Gaia's way of thanking you for donating to the site. For every $2.50 you donate to Gaia, you get 1 Donation letter of the month you donated in (months are year-specific) inserted into your Gaia account. Each letter contains a choice between two items, and is sealed until the last week of the month. This means that you cannot open the letters until the end of the month, but you can still buy the closed letters. Once the month is over, no new donation letters of that month are given out. This means that these items are very rare and limited! You can purchase these items from other users after the month is over, but the older the item and the more popular it is, the more expensive it can become. Donation item prices range from the May 2004 letter at 3K (3000 gold) to the Angelic Halo of June 2003 which is the first donation item and is worth 40 million gold +. In general, Donation items and letters increase in worth over time making them good investments too. Click here to find out what items came from what months' letters. Click here To see a list of the donation items so far (scroll down for more). More information about letters can be found in this link. ~Donation Letter FAQ~

Art Awards: Medals Gaia has monthly art contests that you can participate in. The winner of each month gets a Gold Medal item, the second place gets a Silver Medal, and the next 10 placers get Bronze Medals. While bronzes are sold all the time, only one silver has ever been sold, and no gold medals have been sold. Silver and Gold medals are more rare than Halos at this time, but Silver Medal doesn't go for nearly as much.

Fishing Awards: Trophies Gaia also gives out trophies to those who win at the fishing game each month. The scores are reset monthly and can be viewed at the fishing store.

~Click here~ to see a list of all the medals and trophies.

Fishing: You can also obtain some items by fishing on Gaia. Fish can be traded in for fish hats at a rate of 100 normal fish per hat or 10 rare fish per mask. Junk can also be traded in for items. Additionally, the Angelic Rod is rumored to be in the fishing exchange. (Note: It has also been said it would be a donation item, but this theory is less credible since there is no other equivalent to the item).

~Click here~ to see the fishing items.

If you're curious as to how the economy on Gaia works and/or want to start exchanging/vending or otherwise getting in on the economy by earning money, click This Link. More detailed explanations and tutorials will become available in the coming week.

2003 DONATION ITEMS/LETTERS!

(Latest Update - Wednesday, November 29th, 12:30 PM )

NOTE: 1K = 1000 gold

Investment Color Key
Currently Stagnant - Item worth hasn't changed much recently. Consider dead weight if investing.
Currently Rising - Item is going up in worth. Considered good in investing.
Currently Falling - Item is going down in worth. Bad investments.
Fluctuating - Item is not a reliable investment, but can potentially be sold for high amounts at some times.

(Note: These are just average/normal prices)
(Flukes may happen and items are sold for less or more. Take advantage of those to profit. ^_^)

June 2003
User Image June 2003 Letter - (Unknown value - most likely more than Halo - see notes) Currently Stagnant
User Image Halo - (Unknown value - see notes +) Currently Stagnant

Notes: Very rare item to see for sale and right now I have NO idea what the price is beyond what I used to know. Price was generally double Bear Hats + enough to get another + some. Keep in mind that if you're questing for this item, be prepared to pull out all the stops, and that there are a ton of other people interested in it. Sellers usually dictate what they want for their Halos, within reason, and they are quite infrequent. Be prepared to get turned down a lot after being offered a Halo, or seeing a lot of fake Halo sales, as well as being prepared to face a lot of stress. I and some other friends of mine know this fact all too well.

July 2003
User Image July 2003 Letter - 69-72 million+? Currently Stagnant
User Image Panda Hat - 65-68 million Currently Stagnant
User Image Kodiak - 69-72 million+? Currently Stagnant

Notes: The difference between the Panda and Grizzly Hats has leveled off a little bit, and the way I usually think of how they sell for is how many Slippers/Headphones/Minis you can get from them. Grizzly tends to be more on the lines of Both Slippers + DJs as the maximum. Panda tends to be something like 2 Ports + Slippers, but they have also varied highly. Again, price varies on these because of the fact that the items below them flux a lot, and because they themselves are hard to find on sale.

Unopened July letters are now something of a rarity.

August 2003
User Image August 2003 Letter - 21-24 Million Currently Stagnant
User Image Portable Stereo Headphones - 19-21 million Currently Stagnant
User Image DJ Studio Headphones - 21-24 million Currently Stagnant

Notes: Both hit by the deflation, DJ Headphones have become the much-preferred headphone, even though Ports used to be the higher priced. You can probably get DJs by adding a Sash to Ports, which is about 2 million or so, but you can downgrade DJs to Ports + Devil's Tail in general. DJs can also be offered more highly towards Slippers. Price for Ports at max is something around both Minis + Devil's Tail, while for DJs, it might be something around both Minis + Devil's Tail + Sash or another Devil's Tail. Trading between Augusts and Slippers can yield high profits.

September 2003
User Image September 2003 Letter - 8.2-8.6 million Currently Stagnant
User Image Mini Angel Wings - 8.2-8.6 million Currently Stagnant
User ImageMini Nitemare Wings - 8-8.2 million Currently Stagnant

Notes: Downgrading a September is a pain. Angelics are quickly distancing NM in price due to popularity. Angelic Minis tend to go for higher than Nitemare by about a December 03. Trading for double Octs + Nov + 2 Dec for Angelics is usually max normal price, and trading for double Octs + Nov + Dec for Nitemare is generally the max normal price. They have been known to flux up and down depending on a person's offers, hence how you can profit off them. Hard to sell for straight pure, I wouldn't try selling for pure. These items have been hit hard by the deflation and I don't see them going up anytime soon.

October 2003
User Image October 2003 Letter - 3.3-3.45 million Currently Stagnant
User Image Angelic Sash - 1.975-2.1 million Currently Stagnant
User Image Devil Tail - 3.3-3.45 million Currently Stagnant

Notes: Deflation has caused these items to fall. Tails tend to be more popular than Sash still though as their price reflects.

November 2003
User Image Nov 2003 Letter - 730-740k+ Currently Fluxing
User Image OMG - 730-740+ Currently Fluxing
User Image AFK - 670-680k+ Currently Stagnant

Notes: After the initial deflation, it seems that OMGs and AFKs are increasing again in price. AFKs however seem to be stagnating at around 600-610K at least for now. Better investments than Oct items at this time, expect to see some initial rockiness on the prices of OMG and November 03 as their prices adjust to the lack of items in the vend.

December 2003
User Image Dec 2003 Letter - 570-590k+ Currently Rising
User Image Angelic Scarf - 570-585k+ Currently Rising
User Image Nitemare Scarf - 570-580k+ Currently Rising

Notes: Likely touched by artificial inflation, the Angelic Scarves seem to be going higher. Angelics seem to be overtaking Nitemares for the Christmas season, though this may change. Decembers in the marketplace show that the Angelic demand isn't -really- that high, and should those get bought out too after this posting, I wouldn't be surprised if the people who are doing the artificial inflation are keeping tabs on this guide.

2004-DONATION ITEMS/LETTERS!

(Latest Update - Wednesday, November 29th, 1:30 PM )

NOTE: 1K = 1000 gold

Investment Color Key
Currently Stagnant - Item worth hasn't changed much recently. Consider dead weight if investing.
Currently Rising - Item is going up in worth. Considered good in investing.
Currently Falling - Item is going down in worth. Bad investments.
Fluctuating - Item is not a reliable investment, but can potentially be sold for high amounts at some times.

(Note: These are just average/normal prices)
(Flukes may happen and items are sold for less or more. Take advantage of those to profit. ^_^)

January 2004
User Image Jan 2004 Letter - 130-138k+? Currently Fluxing
User Image Emo Bag - 83-89k Currently Rising
User Image Chain Wallet - 130-138k Currently Fluxing

Notes: January items rose and fell again down to the prices that they are at now. They tend to fluctuate, but in terms of overall pricing, the Chain Wallets at least may rise slightly. Long term investing is alright. Artificial inflations have been very prominent and they sometimes stick.

February 2004
User Image Feb 2004 Letter - 22-24k+? Currently Rising
User Image Zony Discman - 22-24k Currently Rising
User Image Zony MP3 - 22-24k Currently Rising

Notes: Investmentwise, these items have really cooled down. I wouldn't suggest investing in them though buying/selling them is alright if you can get them for a good price. They tend to flux between 20 and 21K, though the Febs may go higher as letters due to inavailability in the marketplace and on the exchange. Discmans are slightly more popular than MP3 at this time.

March 2004
User Image March 2004 Letter - 72-75k Currently Stagnant
User Image Fuzzy Penguin Slippers - 72-74k Currently Stagnant
User Image Baby Seal Slippers - 72-75k Currently Stagnant

Notes: The prices on these items just recently rose - penguins and seals keep fluctuating as the more popular and sellable for 76K. Current prices are stagnant at around 74-75K high and might possibly fall a bit lower than this if untouched.

April 2004
User Image April 2004 Letter - 9-11k Currently Stagnant
User Image Hammi Hat - 9-11k+ Currently Stagnant
User Image Bammi Hat - 9-11k+ Currently Stagnant

Notes: Not the best of investments - these items tend to only increase during artificial inflation, and don't ever really stay at a very high price. They have actually fallen a little since my last update though they are still around the same approximate price range.

May 2004
User Image May 2004 Letter - 7-7.5k+ Currently Stagnant
User Image Monkey Pajamas - 4.75-6.25k+ Currently Stagnant
User Image Bear Pajamas - 6.5-7.5k+ Currently Stagnant

Notes: Usually bad investments. Over time, these items have fallen further and further behind even their later successors, like the August/June/July. They have not been very popular and will probably not be for a good long time.

June 2004
User Image June 2004 Letter - 108-115k Currently Stagnant
User Image Angelic Pendant - 95-100k+ Currently Fluxing
User Image Horns of the Demon - 108-115k Currently Stagnant

Notes: Pendants have now been hit by artificial inflation. Horns and Junes seem to have remained at around the same price that they rose to in recent days. 110K max. However, these items are usually great investments. Prices also tend to flux.

July 2004
User Image July 2004 Letter - 83-87k Currently Stagnant
User Image Kitsune Mask - 51-55k Currently Falling
User Image Steel-Plated Ninja Headband - 82-86k+ Currently Stagnant

Notes: Kitsune masks and Ninja Bands were hit by artificial inflation quite obviously. Kitsune Masks have fallen again and the Ninja Headbands are starting to stagnate, possibly leading to a fall again from 90K.

August 2004
User Image August 2004 Letter - 65-67k Currently Rising
User Image Winged Anklets - 64-67k Currently Rising
User Image Golden Laurels - 65-68k Currently Rising

Notes: These items seem to be recovering overnight to a higher price. Golden Laurels were hit by artificial inflators but are now cooling down a bit while the Anklets catch up. Anklets were just now hit by inflators, as the lowest ones were bought out by just a couple people. Prices in the marketplace for Anklets are not to be trusted at this time, though time will tell if enough people are dumb enough to buy them for that inflated price when the letters are lower.

September 2004
User Image September 2004 Letter - 25-28k Currently Stagnant
User Image Bani Clips - 25-27k Currently Stagnant
User Image Goti Clips 25-28k Currently Stagnant

Notes: After artificial inflation of the Gotis, they have mellowed out so that both the clips are about the same price. Not that great of investments as opposed to other 04s, but at least they do rise once in awhile.

October2004
User Image Oct 2004 Letter - 30-33k Currently Rising
User Image Demonic Pitchfork - 30-33k Currently Rising
User Image Angelic Staff - 30-32k Currently Stagnant

Notes: The pitchfork seems to be the more popular item at this point, though both of these items have been quite popular. Rising to around 28-29K max, it is expected that these would be good long-term investments, but not perhaps for the short term. The release of weapons for the battle system may damage the prices on these later on though. Recently hit by artificial inflation to bring them to 35K, the prices are now around 32K max.

November 2004
User Image November 2004 Letter - 7-8k Currently Stagnant
User Image BTK Hat - 5.5-6.5kCurrently Stagnant
User Image Ice Gauntlet - 8-9K+ Currently Stagnant

Notes: Gauntlets seem to be the more popular item at this point, because you can wear two and it can be either a gauntlet or blades. Gauntlets go for more than the letter sometimes.

December 2004
User Image December 2004 Letter - 9.5-10.5k+ Currently Stagnant
User Image OMFG Hat - 9.5-10.5K+ Currently Stagnant
User Image Fire Gauntlets - 8-9K+ Currently Stagnant

Notes: Prices seem to be slowing down on these. Gauntlets seem to be less popular than OMFG Hats and investing in these is not usually recommended as opposed to other items.

Fluctuating - Item is not a reliable investment, but can potentially be sold for high amounts at some times.

(Note: These are just average/normal prices)
(Flukes may happen and items are sold for less or more. Take advantage of those to profit. ^_^)

January 2005
User Image January 2005 Letter- 11-14k+ Currently Rising
User Image Demonic Pendant 11-14K Currently Rising
User Image Angelic Bracelet 10k-13k+ Currently Rising

Notes: The Pendants are gaining noticable preferrance over the Bracelets. Pendants almost always go for more than the letter. Not necessarily good investments yet, since they're still pretty new and aren't super-popular like the Cloaks but they're okay I suppose. Better than other things like November 04s and December 04s.

February 2005
User Image February 2005 Letter - 9.5-10k+ Currently Stagnant
User Image Lunar Cloak - 9.5-10k+ Currently Stagnant
User Image Solar Cloak 7.5-8.5k+ Currently Stagnant

Notes: A little stagnant right now. Items almost always go for more than the letter. And the lunar seems to be more popular than solar and sells for more. Lunar seems to be the replacement for Dark Cape that people have always wanted, and Dark Capes are being sold in favor of them.

March 2005
User Image March 2005 Letter - 26-28k Currently Falling
User Image RoRo Robo-Puppy 13-15k Currently Stagnant
User Image KiKi Kitty Plushie 26-28k Currently Falling

Notes: Kikis took a major fall after the CoCo counterparts were released. This is no longer a very good investment I don't believe, at least in the short run. In the long run, its hard to say. However, with CoCos there, the effect will naturally be to keep the Kikis from going as high as they would have gone had the CoCos not been introduced.

April 2005
User Image April 2005 Letter - 4-5k Currently Stagnant
User Image Butterfly Mantilla - 4-5k Currently Stagnant
User Image Chestplate of Arachne - 3-3.5k Currently Stagnant

Notes: Butterfly Mantillas are much more popular than the Chestplates of Arachne. For awhile, Mantillas were a replacement for Fairy Wings, but over a period of time, Fairy Wings became more popular again. These items rarely rise so they're not great investments right now.

May 2005
User Image May 2005 Letter - 12-14k Currently Rising
User Image Guitar of Demona - 12-14k Currently Rising
User Image Guitar of Angellus - 12-14k Currently Rising

Notes: Guitars are very popular, mainly because they look much like demonic and angelic wings. When the real wings come out, we'll have to see on the prices, but for now, they are considered a good item to buy and sell, being easy to sell as well as retaining a good price. They are currently rising, since the last time I updated as well as just recently after Halloween

June 2005
User Image June 2005 Letter - 4-4.75k Currently Rising
User Image Phoenix Circlet - 3.75-4.5k Currently Rising
User Image Bone Dragon Helm - 4-4.75k Currently Rising

Notes: Neither of these two items were very popular when they came out, and their prices reflect that. However, it seems that they are gaining a little more popularity with their slight increase in price. (about .5K or so, but still an increase)

July 2005
User Image July 2005 Letter - 4.5-5.5k Currently Rising
User Image Solar Headdress - 4.5-5.5k Currently Rising
User Image Lunar Cowl - 4.5-5.4k Currently Rising

Notes: Solar Headdresses are a little more popular than the Cowl, though they seem to be around the same price lately with Cowl just slightly under. Its not extremely popular in terms of monthly items but July is not the worst either. They are currently rising slightly however, again by about .5-1K or something. But considering what their prices were, thats a large percentage increase.

August 2005
User Image August 2005 Letter - 5.5-6k Currently Falling
User Image Whip of Ice - 5.3-5.75k Currently Falling
User Image Whip of Fire - 5.3-5.8k Currently Falling

Notes: Whips were recently targetted by artificial inflation, and the deflation after the fact has brought them under 6K again. Normally not a great investment in my mind in the short run, but perhaps in the long run they could pay off due to the popularity of it.

September 2005
User Image September 2005 Letter - 3.25-4k Currently Falling
User Image Pandy Pack - 3-3.5k Currently Falling
User Image Hard Shell Pack - 2.5-3k Currently Falling

Notes: Pandy Packs and Hard Shell Packs have really taken a beating. While popular when they came out, I suppose its the newness of the items that makes them this way. The fact that Kikis and Cocos are way more popular probably hurts these animal-based items as well. Anyway, bad short term item and bad long term investment too.

October 2005
User Image Oct 2005 Letter - 9.3-9.8k Currently Rising
User Image CoCo Kitty Plushie - 9.3-9.8k Currently Rising
User Image Wind Security Blanket - 6.75-7.5k Currently Rising

Notes: The October 2005 items have been quite popular and have managed to retain their higher values. Originally, I thought it was mainly just due to the fact that the Kikis were that popular, and that this new black version made people believe that this was a good investment. However, I've noticed that people are ditching Kikis in favor of Cocos and Cocos seem more popular as a want in general. The only thing keeping these from rising is that they're a newer item and there is a large amount of them. The Wind Security Blanket seems to have been a rather large hit too, though not as pricey as the Cocos.

November 2005
User Image November 2005 Letter - 5-5.3K Currently Falling
User ImageNitemare Parasol - 5-5.2K Currently Falling
User Image Sno Yeti Pillow Plush(chillin') - 5-5.3K Currently Falling

Notes: Parasols seem to be the more popular item but only by a slight bit at this time. Likely to be less of a good investment for awhile. Prices falling at the moment, in tune with the idea that they'll be less of a good investment for awhile due to the sheer amount of them.

2003 EVENT ITEMS!

(Latest Update - Saturday November 26th, 7:00 PM)

NOTE: 1K = 1000 gold

Investment Color Key
Currently Stagnant - Item worth hasn't changed much recently. Consider dead weight if investing.
Currently Rising - Item is going up in worth. Considered good in investing.
Currently Falling - Item is going down in worth. Bad investments.
Fluctuating - Item is not a reliable investment, but can potentially be sold for high amounts at some times.

(Note: These are just average/normal prices)
(Flukes may happen and items are sold for less or more. Take advantage of those to profit. ^_^)

Gaia Ball 2003 Items
User Image Black Bow Tie (male) - 5-7 million+? Currently Fluxing
User Image Red Rose Corsage (female) - 60-70 million+ Currently Rising

Notes: While both items were obtained at the Gaia 2003 ball, their prices are notoriously different. Demand for Rose Corsage is much higher because of its inherent uniqueness. Black Bow Tie has different-colored versions in the main common stores. BBT used to go for Devil Tail + some small things and recent prices have shown that its value remains in that ballpark. The offers on these amounted to what appears to be over 60 million+ by current prices. Red Rose Corsage prices range from under Bear Hats by about 10 million, to sometimes going over a Bear Hat in price.

Easter 2003 Items
User Image Easter Egg - Currently unknown price
User Image Bunny Slippers - 24-28 million Currently Stagnant
User Image Chicky Slippers - 22-26 million Currently Stagnant

Notes: Taking a hit in the deflation, Bunnies are worth more than Chickies in general because of popularity. Bunny Slipper owners generally will ask others to add to Chickies to get Bunnies, and offers on Bunnies tend to be higher than those on Chickies. Lately, the norm has been Headphones + October item/letter for the slippers. Whether or not people want more than that added to Ports depends on the seller, but when taking offers, Ports + 2 Octs may not be uncommon, or at least Oct + Sash + Ports. People have also taken offers of 3 Minis + Sash + some more for Bunnies.

User Image Pumpkin Stump - 120-150k Currently Falling

User Image Jack's Grab Bag 8 (Contains KK Hat) - 190-230k Currently Falling

User Image Kandy Korn Hat - 180-225k Currently Falling

Notes: Paper bags generally stagnate at around 10-12K or so. The other JU Items are falling all over the place after the inflation that occured about a month before Halloween (Note, the items tend to inflate not during Halloween, but about a month before). Now that Halloween is over, people are selling these items off to get others and the natural deflation craze of post-Halloween has kicked in. Do not buy these for investments - they aren't good right now. However, if you're looking for long-term, they are alright though I would recommend other items over them. With the Jack vs Santa happening, and the creation of the Jack monster, this is more than likely the reason that the Angers aren't less in price than the Despairs anymore.

Christmas 2003 Items

User Image Santa's Gift (Contains Jolly Hat) 10000-13000g Currently Stagnant

User Image Jolly Hat - 10000-11500 gold Currently Rising

User Image Christmas Charity Giftbox (Contains Jolly Slippers) 4000-6000 gold Currently Rising

User Image Jolly Slippers - 3750-4500 gold Currently Rising

Notes: Due to the upcoming Christmas season, as well as the new story update involving Santa, Jolly Hats have really taken off. Slippers are still at a much lower price but also rose. Not sure how long this would continue though. After about a month from now, I'd be concerned about their prices falling. Good investments for the future in my opinion. They are small in price enough to rise quite high. However, if you do invest in them, be prepared to wait a hell of a long time and if deflation stops on the highest items, you'll be in for a rocky ride..

2004 EVENT ITEMS!

(Latest Update - Wednesday, November 9th, 12:00 Noon)

NOTE: 1K = 1000 gold

Investment Color Key
Currently Stagnant - Item worth hasn't changed much recently. Consider dead weight if investing.
Currently Rising - Item is going up in worth. Considered good in investing.
Currently Falling - Item is going down in worth. Bad investments.
Fluctuating - Item is not a reliable investment, but can potentially be sold for high amounts at some times.

(Note: These are just average/normal prices)
(Flukes may happen and items are sold for less or more. Take advantage of those to profit. ^_^)

Gaia 1st Anniversary Ball Items
User Image Paper Party Hat -1000-1500 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Noise Maka - 450-750 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image S Gaia Tshirt - 20-25k Currently Stagnant

User Image M Gaia Tshirt - 20-25k Currently Stagnant

User Image XL Gaia Tshirt - 10-12k Currently Stagnant

User Image Mail from Gambino - 2500+? gold Currently Stagnant

User Image GAIA 1st Annual Memorial Photo - 3000-5000 gold Currently Stagnant

Notes: Party Favors (Noise Maka and Party Hat) are currently stagnant at the prices they fell to after the last New Years. In terms of Gaia shirts, the S Gaia Tshirt has risen in popularity and is the highest-priced one out of all of them usually. These tend not to rise quickly. Besides the S Gaia T, they're not really good investments but if you have them, know that they will rise eventually, if only slowly.

Gaia Second Annual Ball Item
User Image G Pin - 4000-5000 gold Currently Stagnant

Notes: G Pins were handed out during the Gaia Second Annual Ball of 2004. The rerelease of them in 2005 Gaia anniversary ball made them fall, but they have since recovered a slight bit. Not sure if these would be a great investment as they may be given out later too, but for now, their prices remain at about 5K.

Easter 2004 Items
User Image Easter Basket - 1000-1250 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Bunny Hat - 850-1200 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Chicky Hat - 850-1100 gold Currently Stagnant

Notes: They may not be that great an investment. They usually just sit at the prices that are listed, I find. However, this may change later after Easter - you never know. (though speculation that these will be re-released has really perturbed people from making prices rise)

1st Gaian Olympics Items
User Image White Olympic Tshirt - 600-750 gold Currently Falling
User Image Black Olympic Tshirt - 600-750 gold Currently Falling

Notes: Pretty much forgotten over the course of the year, the Olympic Tshirts have fallen in price to a very very low amount. However, they are such that if they rose, there would be a high percentage of profit no matter what the rise was. Black shirts are usually more popular than the white shirts, courtesy of the general popularity that dark items generally have over light on Gaia. Possibly a good investment in bulk, if you purchase at this price, but don't expect them to rise any time soon.

Halloween 2004 Items
User Image Vials of Unknown Liquid - 300-600 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k4 1 (Contains RJU Shirt) - 4000-4750 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Jack's Disgust - 2500-3500 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k4 6 (Contains Joy) 1500-2500 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Jack's Joy 1200-2250 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k4 7 (Contains JU Cape) 5000-6500 gold Currently Falling

User Image Jacked Up Cape 5000-6000 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k4 8 (Contains Jack-et) 2000-3000 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image The Jack-et - 2000-3000 gold Currently Falling

User Image Human G CORP Tshirt - 9-11k Currently Falling

User Image Zombie G CORP Tshirt - 40-50k Currently stagnant

User Image Human G CORP Labcoat - 95-108k Currently Stagnant

User Image Zombie G CORP Labcoat - 175-190k Currently Falling

Notes: 04 Halloween items have gone into a stagnant phase. The T-shirts seem to be in a falling phase, and in terms of the labcoats, the Human labcoat seems to be stagnant at around 100K+ while the Zombie has fallen under the 200K it was sold at previously. Not great investments in my mind, but the JU Items may go into a higher price next year when they hit 2 years old. I always tend to think investing in a variety of smaller items is better than investing in a larger item.

User Image Xmas Gift from Meredith - 1000-1600 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Jingle Bells - 1000-1500 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Xmas Gift from Moira - 1200-2000+ gold Currently Fluxing

User Image Spirited Gloves - 1000-2000+ gold Currently Fluxing

User Image Xmas Gift from Edmund - 1000-2000+ gold Currently Fluxing

User Image Spirited Socks - 1000-2000+ gold Currently Fluxing

User Image Xmas Gift from Vanessa - 1500-2750 gold Currently Fluxing

User Image Spirited Scarf - 1250-2500+ gold Currently Fluxing

Notes: Xmas Gifts are received for Caroling around the stores during the 2004 Christmas Season - every fifth person you sing to will give you a gift. Almost all prices are currently in flux, going for 1K at one moment and then 4-5K the next due to a ton of people trying to dress up for the X-mas season (and the Santa vs Jack). Possibly good investments if you can get them for cheap as any rise on them would be a large percentage of profit.

2005 EVENT ITEMS!

(Latest Update - Thursday, November 10th, 10:30 PM

NOTE: 1K = 1000 gold

Investment Color Key
Currently Stagnant - Item worth hasn't changed much recently. Consider dead weight if investing.
Currently Rising - Item is going up in worth. Considered good in investing.
Currently Falling - Item is going down in worth. Bad investments.
Fluctuating - Item is not a reliable investment, but can potentially be sold for high amounts at some times.

Gaia 2nd Anniversary Ball Items
User Image V Pin (left half) - 100-200 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image V Pin (right half) - 100-300 gold Currently Stagnant

User Image Gaia 2nd Anniversary Party Hat - 50-150 gold Currently Falling

User Image Gaia 2nd Anniversary Balloon - 50-100 gold Currently Falling

User Image G Pin - 4000-5000 gold Currently Stagnant

Notes: Given out during the second anniversary ball. The most recent event - all prices fell to these lower prices, with the party favors still falling slightly. The V pins have stabilized at around this price, and the G Pins were rereleased in limited numbers, so their prices also fell. Probably not too great an investment.

Easter 2005
User Image Easter Basket 2K5 - 500-900g Currently Stagnant
User Image Bani Mask - 200-400g Currently Falling
User Image Chickie Mask - 300-500g Currently Stagnant

Notes: Easter 2k5 items have not yet really begun to increase in price. Bani Masks have fallen since their initial release, and Chickie Masks have stayed around the same price. However, with how little they are in price, when they do rise they may be good investments. Not a recommended investment at this time, they may prove to be better ones in a year or two.

Von Helson vs Gambino
User Image Anti Von Helson Picket Sign - 100-200g Currently Stagnant
User Image Anti Gambino Picket Sign - 100-200g Currently Stagnant

Notes: The Picket signs really aren't used too much since the whole fall of the Gambino/Von Helson part of the storyline. However, if that comes back up again, expect to see a rise in the value of these items. Not a great investment - too little returns for now.

Halloween 2005
User Image Grunny Shirt - 250-500 gold Currently Falling
User Image Grunny Slippers - 2.5-3.25K Currently Falling
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 1 - 200-400 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Uniform Shoes - 100-150 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 2 - 200-350 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Uniform Pants - 25-75 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 300-500 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jacked Belt - 300-500 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 4 - 350-600 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Uniform Shirt - 300-550 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 5 - 600-900 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Uniform Coat - 500-700 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 6 - 650-900 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Uniform Gloves - 600-800 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 7 - 600-1200 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack Visor - 500-900 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 8 1300-2000 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Uniform Cap - 1200-1750 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Jack's Grab Bag 2k5 9 - 1200-2000 gold Currently Stagnant
User Image Pumpkin Ghost Sheet - 1000-1750 gold Currently Stagnant

Notes: Currently, these items are not the best investment as they just came out and there are so many of them. A note about the Jacked items though: Because of a glitch in the Trick or Treating (ToT) there are a ton of jacked pants around, so they are likely not to rise much. There was however a shortage of, I believe, the 7,8, and 9. Thus those items and bags may be a better investment if you were looking at the long term. Again, short term - not a great investment. Long term - possibly. The Grunny Slippers seem to be at a stable enough price too to warrant a long term investment. However, expect no returns on these investments for awhile if you do decide to go for them. .

GAIA Awards!

(Latest Update - Thursday, November 10th, 10:30 PM)

Note: With award items, its really tough to say what the prices are. I don't tend to recommend exchanging in them both because of personal ethics as well as exchanging methods, but you can get them for low prices and possibly get a really high price for them by offering them towards other items. Please do not take these values to be the rule.

(Note: These prices cannot be determined very exactly, besides the bronze medal, since they are very rarely sold, if at all)

Monthly Art Contest Winner Medals
User Image Gold Medal
Note: Given to the first place winner of the monthly art contest at the Art Arena. Value unknown as no Gold medals have ever been sold. It is not yet known if there will be further Art Arena contests, though it is probably that there will be in the future.

User Image Silver Medal
Given to the 2nd place winner of the month art contest at the Art Arena. Value unknown as only one Silver was sold and that was a long time ago. It is not yet known if there will be further Art Arena contests, though it is probably that there will be in the future.

User Image Bronze Medal - 7500-8500k? (currently researching more on prices) Currently Rising
Notes: Given to 10 3rd place winners at the Monthly Art Contest at the Art Arena. The only medal sold on a regular basis. However, considering the fact that art arena competitions have been temporarily suspended (or permanently), the supply of these will decrease and the price may rise. It is not yet known if there will be further Art Arena contests, though it is probably that there will be in the future.

Fishing Trophies
Notes: These awards are given out monthly to those who place in the fishing game. An overall best trophy is given to the top fisher, 1 gold award is given to each of the three top fishers of each lake, 1 silver medal is given to the 2nd place finisher of each lake, and 7 bronze trophies are given to those who place 3-10th in each lake. The trophies of each lake are unique and different from one another.

The prices on these are hard to determine as there are currently only one month's worth of them out there. As of now, prices could be whatever the seller dictates, within reason, though its noticable that most of the trophies do not go over 1 million at this time.

Fishing trophies are tradable and equipable (You can hold them in your hand). They have no sellback as they cannot be sold back to the store.

Notes: Trophies really have fallen in value for the bronzes in particular. They used to go for a high amount but they don't really now. Their prices are way too hard to predict. Bronzes tend to go for around 50K now, and as for the rest, the values are as yet to be determined, though Gold Trophies besides the overall seem to be dropping down to less than a million while the Overall itself can be traded at around Minis or a little less.

FISH, JUNK, AND FISH HAT/MASK PRICES!

(Note: Rare Fishmasks usually go for more than 10 of the rare fish individually. While these items are not usually thought of as good investments, I do have to note here that the Fishmasks sometimes rise because of the lack of supply of more rare fish at a steady enough stream to counter demand.)

CASINO ITEM PRICES!

(Note: For Casino items, these items can be obtained by gambling for the tickets in the slots game for a lower price than you can buy them from the exchange or marketplace. It takes a lot longer and some aren't patient enough to wait, but gambling for them usually takes so much time that it may not be worth it to some more proficient exchangers to actually gamble for them and miss deals while they're gambling. Prices do flux sometimes and these are not good investments, thus the lack of an investment bracket. More and more tickets are always being made and more items as well, and so the demand should be countered by supply here.)

NOTE: 1K = 1000 gold
