New tools ! smile
Edit : and front page redesign.

--------------------------------

Interesting new tools....... although...... how are you working the random image sig?... cause you remember you aren't allowed to link images through funpic... XP... I'm going to half to kill off my dynamic banner.... but i'm to lazy... besides... I can't remember if I used my normal passwords for that account... lol...

--------------------------------
lol
For the random sig thingy, it's simply...
header('Location: '.$some random row in the database that matches some conditions...)

--------------------------------

I kinda already knew that one.... it's pretty old...
woudn't that still be stealing bandwith...

--------------------------------
A few bytes... Not even more than 100... confused
--------------------------------

... I never used that code cause of bandwith things.... the only image creation I've come up with that I left there was a dynamic banner... which the php code could alter the size, type, and compression..... the other dynamic part was that the image was created by piecing certain images together with a update script...

.... i've been using header('Location: '); for other purposes all the time... and I already knew it could do images....
... that's kinda................ not a secret.... heck...... I think I've seen a random image generator script already using that.... so... it's pretty old...
XP... I don't do random images anyways.... I'd probably use it for some other reason if I ever got the idea... I'd have done it before without seeing your script............. XP... I should get back to trying to get XML to work with javascript.... I can get it on PHP... but their script for javascript dosen't work right...

--------------------------------
It's my first time using header('Location: '...) for image purposes, I knew it could be done way before but I had to finish other stuff before, ya see.
Annd I know you could do it soooo easily without seeing anything 3nodding I don't doubt in your skills.

thanks for putting the w3schools.com link in the resource area...
through that I Topped off my skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS... and I learned XML, DTD, RSS... found out that DHTML is just a fancy way of saying you know javascript.... and learned how XHTML works....

.. and just like how LOTF got me into PHP... You showed me GreaseMonkey...
he eh... I built a Custom EmoticonPannel Generator that adds a box on the sidebar which contains a list of images you input... clicking on the emot adds it using the same script as the normal emoticons...

also... I built(currently only for my private use till I get everything right...)... a box on the sidebar that contains links that insert preformatted posts for in the Q&A form...

allong with those.. I also Had to creat 2 ad removers... cause they were ruining pther scripts...
and I built my own personal script logins...

--------------------------------
I saw all those already, while browsing your funpic account xd
--------------------------------

not the script logins... and the helper bar shouldn't be visible....

XP.... I came up with a new one.... though... line breaks are messing up on it...

basicly I made a tool that ads a quick signature valitation link in someone's sig.....

it links to the one I was hired to make... so now I can check something with the click of a button...

gaaaah.... the code..... it burns.........
to much javascript on the main page.... it hurts my eyes... XP... and I like my scale script better... it's shorter and still works great... plus I don't leave scripts inside the page...
<script language="javascript\" type="text/javascript\" scr="url.js"></script>

--------------------------------
Uh, I'm afraid I don't know what are you taling about here... confused
--------------------------------

XP... your site.... teh javascript code... it's... it's............ well... I just like my format better...

Shorter, just as strong, easily redable, and not part of the html page...

--------------------------------
Yeah, I knw you can include scripts with <script src=""></script> but what does it change, appart from being convenient if you have to include it in multiple pages, which is not the case here.
Plus, the browser needs to download the .js file, just like images, using a different thread. And putting the script in the <head> ensures that the functions are ready to be used before displaying the <body>, while it might not be the case if you include it with src="" because the browser won't weait for it to finish downloading.
The time for the browser to download the whole data is longer, because there's one more HTTP request.
It's as readable as including it in the <head>.
So what's wrong ?

--------------------------------

XP... it's just easier to read when you're trying to change arround your site... that's all...

But there is a shorter way to write the actual shrink and grow script...
