Gaia Quest Guide: Moving to a new account

im juz wondering, the golden compass quest doesnt work too well for me.. after watching the trailer i didnt get a "quest complete" and a golden compass.. the professor only said "Golden Compass" to me.. any idea how to fix that?

That is odd. I've never heard of that happening before. You may not be able to complete it anymore...but have you tried to complete it again? Also, try cleaning up your internet cache. ^^ I find doing that helps to fix various errors on Gaia.

The new Bebo quest is glitched...some people are able to get the GO Phones, while others aren't. I'm trying to figure out how to work around it but it doesn't seem to work. You may need to have your GO Player in your inventory in order to get the Phones. I'm seeing if that works right now. If it doesn't, we all just have to wait for a day or two while they fix the error and/or make an announcement on how to complete the new Bebo quest.

While the quest isn't working correctly, I will not add it to the lists. I'll put it up once everything is working right. :3

The wearing the player/having it in your inventory didn't seem to work for me on a new account. However, someone suggested that there is a time limit between the time you can complete the Player quest and the one where you can complete the Phones quest. I seem to believe that this is correct but I can't say for certain if this is so.

And the "Magical Links" for giftboxes no longer work becuase the random event system was revamped, and the retrieval links are no longer necessary.

Ah. Thank you for the heads up. ^^ I saw the link in someone's signature and thought it was something that people should see. I didn't realize the random event system was revamped. I'll remove it the next time I log onto Mule of Quests.

Thanks. x3 And GO Phones are an semi-elusive Bebo quest item at the moment. XD;; They're what I am wearing...and I have to admit, they're one of the best items on Gaia (though I keep mistaking people who are wearing them to be wearing the headphones from 2003). Which may be why people are so upset about not being able to get them

Nothing new with the quests as of now. :3 Some are saying that there is definitely a time limit and that limit is two weeks. Other than that, I added a new section to the front page which is titled "About the Series."

Part of my resolution for the new year on Gaia, I decided to finally get around to writing up all the other guides I wanted to create. They are established right now but they are still under construction. However, do not hesitate to PM this account or my main, Clrael, if you have any questions about any of the guides.

I'll add that up in the Q&A post. I tried that on one of my accounts but it didn't work for me (though I did try it when the GO Phones just came out and it was glitchy). It may work for others though. ^^ Thanks.
