Fish Tank?

I really don't mean to be this stupid and I've scoured places to receive an answer before I take up space to really post a question. I don't have the gold to waste to make a really nice aquariam if I don't get anything in return for it so... Do you get gold if someone plays booty grab in your fish tank? I've noticed when I play booty grab that it has an amount of gold for the person whose fish tank I play in so I was wondering if that means they get a portion of the gold too???

Yes, the tank owner gets gold.
I think the current break down is 100% of grab for both the owner and the grabber, but the grabber gets an additional 200% bonus--and an additional 500g if the grabber is one of the first 5 to grab that tank
so, if the initial grab is 1,000 gold, the owner gets 1,000g and the player gets 3,000 (the 1,000g plus 2,000 more)

The new "lite" fish are not booty grab fish and would not be good to start a booty grab tank.

Good starter fish for a BG aquarium are the cheaper minimonsters like lightning bugs, galoshes and walkers. The certainly don't pay as much as coatls and airsharks, but they can make for a good start.

If you are going to start an aquarium, be aware that what you get out f it depend on what you put into it. Getting involved in booty grab guilds (The Booty Prowling Panthers are awesome) and playing other people's tanks and bumping their thread will help get your tank exposure. I've found the booty grab community to be the nicest, friendliest and most welcoming people on Gaia so it's not any hardship to play and chat among friends.

I will definitely make one, I was just worried about pumping a lot of money in my tank only to get nothing in return for it ^.^ I'm not the richest person around so I don't have the cash to spend on Gaia and I found booty grab to be the quickest and easiest way to make gold but I feel like I'm cheating by taking the gold and not sharing any of my booty grabs. Thank you very, very, very much! I wish I could tip you more than the standard amount you were very informative and helpful! :]

I'm glad I could help! I'm not the gaia -wealthiest person and I'm not prone to buying cash cards, but my tank pays for itself and my gaia-shopping addiction now.
