yay for being mentioned heart

on a side note to the post above mine, was it 9096 or 7096, cause it you got it up over 2000 points I'm impressed o_o
other than that, I've had fish died on happiness of 50, 70, 78, and 86; the first two amounts were from a tank where they were slightly abused(put on setting they disliked; the second two amounts were in a tank where they were better taken care of

I don't know if this is useful, but I figured I'd add my numbers in case they were useful 3nodding

Oops. O_O Yeah, I meant 7096. XD I think my brain was confused recently and imagined the goldfish base at at 9k instead of 7k. Sorry for any confusion with that. sweatdrop

... Wow. Speaking of hearts and scores, my fish have now changed to having just 5 heart spaces. I've got 4 red hearts and one space blank still. o_O

Just when you get a system figured out, Gaia goes and changes it. rolleyes
what does it mean when it shows 5 hearts but not all are full? and why do i get fish drops?

Pretty When I Cry

i think that the "not full" hearts are like 1/2 scores or something to that effect.
And fish drops are given to you when one of your fish die. They can be found under the "Special" tab of your inventory, and can be opened like giftboxes.
ah cool, thanks!

Personally, I'm not really a fan of the new Happiness display. I liked it better as a number xp Now it'll be too hard to track fish happiness.
U SAID IT BIG TIME. ME PREFFER THE OLD METHOD TOO
I prefer this one, it's less depressing. The old the bar didn't seem to go up.
ME HATE IT CUTTLEFISH ONLY GET ONE FULL HEART
*does not like the hearts instead of numbers* =_=

Um, are there other fish foods?? When I click feed, it gives me the option to CHOOSE the Loam Flakes... Are there other foods currently existing, or possibly going to exist in the future?

(BTW, loam flakes don't sound very appetizing...)

I don't like the hearts, either. They appear to be either meaningless or arbitrary or something else not useful. My goldfish (who should be 50 points apart) have hearts the same level. I put in an arrow fish today and it has hearts at the same level as the goldfish. I don't understand how the hearts tell you anything at all. o_<

Boogie: Currently, I don't think there's anything but loamflakes. It could be that we'll get other food in the future, or maybe it just has to offer use loamflakes so it works like the other menu items. =/

By the way, according to wikipedia, loam is "soil composed of sand, silt, and clay in relatively even concentration (about 40-40-20% concentration respectively), considered ideal for gardening and agricultural uses."

We're feeding our fish dirt. XD

I agree a lot. I prefer having the numbers. Especially with my experiment going on right now.
