hi Strude! wow, you've done a LOT of work to help us all out here. much appreciated! I looked through everything on page one and could'nt find "How to make a banner". Did I miss it? I wnt to page two but all it was , was numbers and such...which I didn't understand, but I'm sure you do! Any help in making a banner for my booty grab thread would be TOO wonderful! 4laugh

@Leya: Er, if you're not looking to make a banner with text, I'd have to say you would need an artist to make you one using graphics software. There are plenty of shops that would be glad to make banners for you, at a price.

You could also make banners on several sites on the web for free, but I don't pay attention to the names 'cause I never need to use them. >xD

yeah, I want one with text. I'd probably add one graphic in and have a background color if possible. I know I can pay people to do it! My point is learning to do it for myself. That's why I am reading up on all the info Strude has put here, to learn myself!. Thank you for the advice.

99% of banners are make with graphics programs. Such as Photoshop or GIMP (which is a free graphics program, you can download at http://www.gimp.org/.)

For just text, do it like you always do. Put some text down and make it whatever size and color you want. You can not change the background of plain text, you'd have to make an image banner for that.

Just popping in to say I love the guide. The bit about underline colour was a godsend - I mess that one up contantly, but far, far less now! 8D (Some people just can't be helped, haah. x'D)

Plus the upperline trick is...Well, a really neat trick. =)
