Wow! This thread is really helpful! whee I just received a scam (or what I think is a scam) telling me I posted the 1,000,000 post. I was like "What?! I thought the 1 billion-th post was already made..." It had me confused with my numbers... sweatdrop I also looked at the color of the name and saw it was black but when I search up the names of the admins and everything but I couldn't find the name there even through it sounded really familar..The character was a shadow which confused me. Can you please tell me more about shadows? sweatdrop

P.S. He asked for my password and user name but I didn't answer yet..I guess I couldn't decide because he used the word secretly... sweatdrop But thanks to your thread I know not to 'cause real ones don't need our password...thanks again!

a shadow avatar is something anyone can make. you just have to go to the dress up page and click "delete character" and instead of remaking it, just leave it.

the actual REAL admin account used to be just a shadow, but now she has a nice fancy avatar. nobody on staff has a shadow avatar that i know of, but what the person looks like is not as important as their username color or what they're asking.

Deleting just leaves it as it was before deleted until you re-create and avatar now. You have to change your gender and not change back to get one.

kage is mistaken, but not a lot of users know about this: deleting your avatar does not make a shadow avatar anymore. Instead, if you delete your avatar, what will happen is that your avatar won't look any different from when you deleted it until you re-create a new avatar.
So now, in order to get a shadow avatar, you must go to "My Gaia" > "Account" > "avaliable" and change your gender, and not re-create a new avatar.
