And I'd like to help. I've a common hacking maneuver used many times in hollywood/towns/rally, etc.

Some person will come in and say "look! Gaia doesn't let you type your password! See?? *******75"

Then, they encourage others to try it, and, before you know it, you're hacked. I report everytime I see this method used, but I'd like to help warn ahead of time to NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD. A common phrase used in this thread and all throughout Gaia.

No, I've never fallen for that method. I would NEVER give out my password.

yeah umm, well i pressed:Typical Password Scam:Remember that it's not that the staff won't ask for your password, it's that they don't need it! As usual, it's obvious he's not a staff member. And it contained a lot of nudity...So maybe you should take that out, and it takes you to a site with just pictures, no words...

Thank you so much for making this thread! I've gotten a few of those phishing emails before, and I had to do a frantic internet search to find out if they were real or not before the "alotted 15 minutes" were up. =A= I've been pretty paranoid about being hacked, so this thread really helped!
