there are two surefire ways to tell.

1. username color
2. do they ask for your password

1. real mods have purple, teal and dark green usernames
2. anyone asking for your password just wants to hack you

and a little FYI- nobody on gaia staff has usernames like that, the only official sounding account name that we have is "admin" just plain admin, in orange.

I am having an issue with my mimzy.

I bought a mimzy for 100 gold, and the trade seemed to go through. Then, after about 10-15 minutes, the gold went back to my account. However, the mimzy stayed. I tried to equip the mimzy, but it would not show up on my avatar. I also bought about four other mimzy's from the marketplace and they would not equip, either. What should I do, and is this a glitch?

Is this the right place to ask questions? I was directed here by someone, but it doesnt seem right. neutral
