loads of new stuff added to the article lib, it's worth taking a look if you're concerned with security.

Any one with Vista SP1 should definitely read the article concerning the effects of SP1 on many anti-virus programs!
Wow, wondrous update!

Apart from this, I'd have a question, I likely skipped this info but I didn't see it on the first page: can trades be dangerous? Apart the obvious thing that if you trade your money for a wrapped item you're searching problems, is there any way that the user I'm trading to can get my password? I know that this can seem foolish, and I find it quite unlikely, but I prefer to be sure than cry after 3nodding .

trades are often used to scam though so be careful there. once i was going to do a big trade with someone and they PMed me saying something like "there is something going wrong with the trade i need your password so i can fix it"... don't fall for stuff like that. also, be weary when doing multiple part trades. if you're trading a bunch of stuff that will require more than one trade in exchange for one item it could easily turn into a scam- same for the flip side of sending one item for many items requiring more than one trade. it's always best to trade one on one, send all items in one trade and never accept unless you see what you want on the other side. this does make trading for expensive, rare items difficult though, realize the risk involved before engaging in the trade and always be sure to document the agreement in case you end up having to report.
Thanks, I thought it but I wanted a confirm. And thanks also for the second part, I knew that but you can't ever hear it enough ( repetita semper iuvant smile ).

I read through your pages multiple times, and I have to say good job!

I also have a question:

So I check my email today, and there is a scam attempt email. Is there any way of reporting this to the mods, or should I just delete the message. ((I also screencapped it if that helps...))

I know, it made me cream my pants.
Good guide - very comprehensive.

Can I make a couple of suggestions?

For your "COMMON SIGNS OF BEING HACKED" section, if people notice items are missing they should also check their PMs before filing a hacking report, to see if they have been notified of a removal. If a user receives a stolen or botted item/gold as a gift it will be removed from their account and they will receive a PM notification from an admin.

Also, screencaps generally aren't necessary for reporting. The report system does take a snapshot of the content that is being reported. The only time a screencap would be really useful is if some of the evidence for the report isn't attached to the actual content being reported (for example, reporting a Towns chat log that has already disappeared from the screen by the time you hit report, filing an abuse/harassment report that includes several PMs as evidence, etc)
