I wish to warn the readers of the thread, that OctoberTheSouless is a scammer. They have tried unsucsessfully to scam me.

I got hacked when I logged in at a internet cafe , I guess someone got on the computer after me and my password was saved on that computer so they took all my stuff.

that's why you should always clear your cache and cookies before you get up. make sure to click "logout" as well. i try to avoid using public computers whenever i can because there is no way of knowing that they're safe. unlike at home, most public computers don't allow regular users to run virus scans.

WOW! i had no idea i had so much to watch out for, this is crazy! i'm glad i saw this before it was too late though. i have no idea how gaia works.

they should tell us about this in the stupid tour. i think knowing how to identify staff and that they don't need your pass is more important than being made to buy some stupid shirt.

second update for the day:
screen shot of the ripway cookie grabber has been added to the scam examples.

always check where a link goes BEFORE CLICKING it. you can do this by mousing over it and looking in the status bar and by right clicking the link and going to properties. this scam was sent to me as contest for commenting on someone's profile. don't fall for it!

and it's not even new people any more, it's sorta hard to figure out whats fake and whats not (like the gaia homepage fake logins)
