*ALMOST* Every Random Sig Method Known To Gaia!

Ok- I think I found the problem, but I havent tested it yet...

The reason why some of the sigs arent showing is a little problem Gaia has with some BBcoding...


If you run to your 'edit profile' page and check out the URL of your random image script, you'll notice "&" scattered somewhere in it...

Just take that part out, and submit it...


It may take a few tries, but eventually, the &amp error wont occur...

I use BFN, and am really finding this whole 'removing &' quite frustrating.

My original code looks like this:

Yes, it does have the image codes on either side and the code numbers/letter, just left them out for this post.


Anyway, my editied version looks like this:

So, no &s, and it still just gives me a little red cross.

I just got a PM from Mystic-Vixen ( <3 to her ), who suggested that I make the BFN code URL into a TinyURL, which worked delightfully.

Making it a TinyURL logically removes the &s.

For Cut and Paste Scripts! Shoulda added that before... or at least... what I used.

After they are uploaded, you'll see some URLs of them, then go to Cut and Paste Scripts and make an account there too, both are free so don't worry, after you've made an account on both sites, take the ones from UpLoadit and put them into the "Random Image" area in your Cut and Paste area, it'll show a white box similar to the ones you use to post on Gaia, just put all the links of the pics in there, and hit Create, it'll then give you a URL to use in your Gaia Profile to display them.

Use the tags to make it a piccy. Just be sure to delete the Qoutation marks and some other useless crap they put in the URL.

If you need anymore help, I'm here or you can ask most others with a Random Image sig, most should help.

That's what I told some random person that PMed me 'bout mine, just take out the extra Qoutes when you get the link it gives you. I.E.

Turn : <img src="http://www.cutandpastescripts.com/cgi-bin/randomimages/randomimages.pl?username=YOURUSERNAMEHERE!!">

Into




And it should show the pics instead of that qoute.. Only without the spaces 'course.

And that should do it for CnP.

For some reason, that method is not working for me. =/ I followed the directions on this page but it didn't come out right. Only the first image shows up and not the other. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out with that small problem.

Well, I took all of the little & symbols out, but nothing shows up. I don't get a little X or anything. There's just nothing there. I could be doing something wrong. Here's the original:

With and without the &, it does the same thing. I tried the TinyURL and that didn't work either. So... I'm lost.
