I just wanted to say thank you. I am wanting to open my own art shop soon and I was looking for a forum that would help me do it (I figure if I am going to make one I might as well do it the right way). I happened across yours and assumed it was probably just a parody, due to the name, and would hold no help for me but was worth a read anyway....Holy **** I was so very wrong.

I am so happy I decided to read this! Best advice I have ever received in a long time, I am actually rather excited to get started. Your guide provided me with so much helpful information. I know that I am for sure linking this page, because more people need to read this!

I ran back to my store to get eyedrops and dramamine for the dizzyness. I offered help, but she said she liked it that way.

the quest thread? I suggest you take it easy with colors...using many colors sort of leaves you in a daze. I stopped reading when I got to the collectibles page. And take it easy with the emoticons...

The header is too bright for my taste, but that's just me.

Try to avoid saying things tat your clients don't need to hear, growls and hissings are just plain out stupid to put on rules. also a FAQ is not necessary, it can be placed on the ordering rules. and having a status isn't necessary. There's always a post that tells them how long it will last, or you tell the client. there's no need for that.
and I insist on the excess of things they don't need to hear...why you chose the name has no need in the store. I could call my store 'kai's pig brother art shop' and the client doesn't need to know why...
