They iintended for people to play through the game. However, people found out they could be sold and put them on the market as soon as possible. Then, (whoever the hell designed the game) caught wind that we are buying our way up. So they got mad and made it harder for us to buy up through soulbinding. Needless to say. Didn't STOP people from buying and selling rings. Oh heavens no. It just kind of told people to 'earn it yourself! D:<'

Hi I just wanted to say thanks for this guide! I ran into it several months ago and spent a little time vending and exchanging and was well on my way to making enough gold to buy a few expensive items I've been wanting, but then life came along and I really haven't been on gaia for months, I went straight for your guide when I finally logged on again. biggrin
I just finished re-reading parts of it, and I'm off to start making gold again.
