Is it just me, or were the posts in this thread all mixed up? Maybe it's my Gaia being crazy. For example, a post from the 24th is AFTER all the posts from the 25th. I don't get it~ u_u

If it's under 250g there's no major problem in opening (you're not going to lose gold). But you can still sell it.

I opened it and sold the wristwatch for 525 to the shops (no exchange fee!~). ;P
Thanks for the tips! I would have sold it for 395 or so, with a 7 gg tax removed otherwise (363 gold profit versus 500 gold profit).

I knew it had nothing to do with happiness, but I thought there was a difference in amount... Like the glasses coming out 30% and the gold watch only 20% (fake numbers).

I think, in the overseer item Guide, or maybe the Fishlab guide, the author says that another user, whenever they opened a drop, got an error message stating the name of the item they should have received and the drop stayed in their inventory to be opened again and again. This is how they concluded randomness. I've opened tons of them, too. Seems pretty random. I haven't noticed that I get one item or items any more often than the others.

I've noticed weird posting things lately. Like.... all of the time-stamps being totally off. But never a whole bunch of posts out of order. But I believe Gaia is doing some kind of security overhaul right now. Maybe that is the source of the problem.

I always open the fish drops if I get them for cheap. I keep hoping I'll get a Goldfish Scarf or Arrowfish Sword or something.

My personal preference is to do both. Vending by itself drives me crazy because it's so repetative but Exchanging can go at a very slow pace sometimes. So I'll vend for a few minutes here and there while I'm waiting for responses or for new sales to open up and such. How do you typically gain gold if you don't like the MP but can't Exchange?

@Jace Quin: Just because I hate it doesn't mean I don't use it. When I'm not questing anything specific I just let my gold count be and do things that I consider more fun.

A friend of mine says that he can easily make 20k a day from Booty Grab (if looking in the right places for the best aquariums). I still have to try that out, but I think I prefer the MP to Booty Grab.

Ah, I see. ^.^ I find Exchanging to be fun. I don't really know why. I just enjoy it. But I also rp at the same time. Or play zOMG. I multi-task a lot.

I play Booty Grab whenever I see it. Not really for my own benefit, though. I'm not very good (I don't think) but I like telling the aquarium owner I earned them 20g or whatever.

I'm ok at multi-tasking, not incredibly good. But lately I've been getting headaches whenever I need too much energy to do something (like when doing too many things).

Hmm. That's kind of odd. The other day I learned that most headaches and migraines are caused not just by noise or light but by back and shoulder tension/pain. Which explains why school would give me such horrible headaches. Because it had all three factors plus allergins. >.< I hope you figure out a way to make your headaches better.

And... I was curious about your signature. Are you talking about how the inventory arranger has been messed up for months now? I used to have a mule account I just stored crap on and when I had more than a thousand items in the regular inventory the arranger would crash. But when I had less than a thousand it was okay. Now I have 1,400 items in the storage locker and forty in the regular inventory and it seems okay. But I had to go through all kinds of crap to manage that. I really wish they'd fix it.

Allergies are no fun. I no longer go to a crappy ancient shool full of mold every day but I'm not looking forward to spring allergen-wise.

That's very strange. I hadn't heard of that happening to anyone before. You reported the problem, right?

Yeah, putting things in storage and only moving things from the bottom up seems to work fairly well. That's my crappy work-around for when I want to arrange things in one of my inventories.
