You really do get good deals sometimes. And the more gold you have the better opportunity you have in the future.

The nice thing is since you're making gold like this, even if you buy items you'll still be "up" this amount of gold. Unless you actually go out and donate or give away everything your "value" won't decrease. You can always sell off an item and be worth more.

What happens if you come across an item that is highly popular to sell but is currently inflated? Should I bid 90% based off the average buy price?

Since you know it's inflated you can either A) Explain that it is, and bid according to the older price [which the seller sometimes is like yeah, I know it's inflated so I'll take that bid] or B) bid according to the new price and sell it before it swings back.

Sometimes the inflated prices sticks and that's why prices do change over time, it just may take somebody to up the price to make people realize the item is worth having. Or the price may drop and you just may walk away from the item.

Think about what time of day it is--obscure prices show up late at night, sometimes really high or really low. Also consider the quantity of items being sold... if only 3 have been sold so far the ABP might be super out of wack-- although this is not your case.

I'd say start your bids according to whatever is the lowest. If it's inflated and they don't like it, you may wish to bid 60,70,75% of whatever the inflated rate is.

Great guide but I disagree with your stance on RIGs.
First 1 - 3 days a RIG is out it sells like crazy.
I make a good over 2m by opening bundles and selling them separate.
And thats just off of one bundle.

But I suppose that is just me.

Actually I had brought that up. Although it's pretty rare that it happens after a few hours once prices stabilizes.

Prices normally don't stabalize for over a week.
It also depends on how wanted the RIG items are.
