Go to zomg and go to Bassken Lake where Papa Saw is...up till now the best area to get gold or you could go to the Gold Beach & do Smob fast run which gives you around 2k to 8k each round.

Booty and zOMG! definitely... but if you're looking to find gold in the millions+, I suggest selling gaiacash items on the market. That's how a lot of users make tons.
