*mumbles because Gaia deleted the blurb she had written* For the first time ever in Fishing History, a well known and respected Top Fisher becomes a Gaia Dedicated Moderator. Since the beginning of the Top Fisher's thread, Gaidin has been there, helping to lead and support the fishing community. Gaidin was the go-to guy when it came to figuring out strategies, tips and basic fishing knowledge. Winning multiple trophies in some rather impressive runs, he won everyone over by his friendliness and strong desire to help others, be it fishing related or real life issues. Becoming the voice of the fishing community when it went unheard, Gaidin helped to put fishers on the map. Now a days, in much part influenced by the Fishy Love thread the community put together and which Gaidin organized and runs, Fishers have helped influence many aspects of Gaia, from the game to items and more. Top Fishers is the heart of the fishing community, and Gaidin has been it's leader since many of us can remember. The only remaining member of the original staff, he's stuck through with Fishing even when fishing failed him, leaving him unable to even so much as complete one bucket, much less compete. Unable to fish, he dedicated that time instead to helping out as much as he could with the current issues that were weighing fishers down, from those efforts, Fishy Love was born, and from that, in November 2006, he became a Fishing Forum Helper. Dealing with a tough year of college, and the ordeals of running a household and other rather troublesome issues offline were still not enough to make him falter in the fight for Fisher's to be heard and noticed. He's seen it all, been through it all. He's been there for fishers even when fishers were not there for him, working ardously with developers to help fix problems and make fishing fair for everyone. It is with much pride that Top Fishers congratulates one of it's own, Gaidin on becoming a Gaia Dedicated Moderator. May the future only get better onwards, and may we see your name on the boards soon, playing for the love of the game, and moderating for the love of the community.
Gaidin
Where's the Fishy love?
Please remember to not be rude in here eh?

General: Merely a week remains, and the boards look fairly set unless something major changes for the competitors.
Bria_Teragram now holds first in Overall, witha sizable lead over Zanam, though Raining Miroku is currently lurking off-board right now. If anyone needs to make a rush, now is the time.
Here Mr. Famous is still on top with a comfy lead. Just below though, one of the few uncertainties lies in the battle between Empty Zone and Lezaeria for the Silver Bass. This could be a battle to the end. The scores plummet after that though, showing normal trends with only a few people in immediate challenging range of the Top 10.
Miyu888 is still sitting in first, with Bria_Teragram around 10k behind her. Mr. Gr3en is over a day back from 2nd, so it will take some fancy fishwork if he wants to take 2nd for himself. From there the scores fall swiftly to 4th, and then are tightly packed all the way to 11th. Even 12th is currently in a position for immediate sniping of 10th, so things could get pretty hectic here in the last few days.
centurytuna still holds first, almost as easily as Lady Suzine holds second. It seems neither will be challenged unless something unexpected happens, and rightfully so with their leads. Ironically, most of the Bronze scores here are lower than in Gambino, but this is due to the surge of bots that have apparently discouraged many fishers from competing. Even so, it seems the gap between 10th and 11th may be more than what is normally closed at the end of the month. Time will tell, so take a seat, grab some popcorn, and sit back and watch the show
