just one more question, how do you refresh the bait to prevent degrading? sweatdrop

You have to not save a bucket for 12 hours. That is, the bait will reset 12 hours from the time you last had a bucket save. However, bait doesn't ever get worse than the "base" package that it is. What I mean by that is that if you use A bait after the first 5 buckets, it will always act like A bait. Same with D. The whole Degradation thing is mainly just a little bonus.

I was going through the parts of this thread again which pointed to what could be crafted from fish that are caught... and I didn't see anything about what one needs to have to craft the three Goldfish Kimonos.

The Goldfish Kimonos, such as this one, are Alchemy items, not Fishing Exchange items. Since they don't come from the Fishing Exchange, they aren't in the guide. Luckily for you, the Goldfish Kimonos are also Bifrost formulas, so you can actually see what they need, as opposed to other formulas.

Ahh, silly me for assuming that since it had the word 'goldfish' in it, that it was fishing-related. Damn. I like those kimonos... too stinkin' expensive, though. Thanks for answeing! 3nodding

is there a difference between different types of junk? like does a can move faster than a boot? or are they all the same?

All junk has exactly the same movement pattern in a given lake. Last I remember, Bass'ken and Gambino's junk both have the exact same movement patterns as well, but obviously Durem's is a fair bit harder.

I actually feel like drift wood is different from the rest of the junk in Bass'ken.
It probably is just me getting tricked, but sometimes I'll notice Driftwood acts a bit like a guppy from the top but when it gets near the bottom as you're about to catch it, it'll go completely dead like the other junk and it's a split-second realization that it's not a fish but junk.
