Exchanging Bass for Stripers worth it?

Do you get more gold selling the bass or turning them into stripers.

If you follow MP values it is better to sell the bass, how ever users that do change them into strippers do it because they quest rares or other items, and changing them allows them to save on time.

_-_ I just did the math on this, with the current MP values its worth exchanging bass for blue and green strippers, but the grey fall around the same price.
